Today's photo was Edited in Camera Raw & Photoshop: removed the ceiling lights so the background would look more generic, duplicated the background railing from the right-side, horizontally flipped, and pasted it to the left-side blending it into the existing background. Also extended the frilly material to span the length of her top, colour matched, and more. Thanks

😀 @itszandriatheis from @portrait.shooters #portmeetla. Edit by @cliffcreates Let’s break down the editing steps shown in the video: 1. Camera Raw (basic adjustments, geometry section to adjust the vertical tilt, etc). 2. Clean-up and distraction removal including a duplicate of the tree from the right-side. It was added to the left and flipped horizontally. Random leaves were painted in so they look a little different. 3. Frequency Separation to correct some colour casting. 4. Dodge and burn to even out light and shadows, also to add some drama. 5. Colour grading style inspo from Alex (liquidverve). 6. Cropped model to the middle leaving a gap along the left-edge. A combination of Content Aware Fill and Clone/Healing brushes were used to fill the gap. FYI: this edit was done in-full during one of my live-streams. Change. I’ve been using the Panasonic GH5 since late-2018. Almost all the photos on my Instagram feed (except one) were taken with it. As you can see in the video the GH5 has captured lots of great memories for me and the fine folks I’ve worked with over the past few years but, as of today I’ll be making the switch. Can you guess the camera and lens I’ll be using? I might revisit the archives to do a comparison of how I edited “before-and-after” style, or find a few gems I originally overlooked (it happens).
