Yury Rets is a techno music performer and analogue drum machines, synthesizers and samplers recording artist.
In early childhood, he became interested in music, first hearing electronic sounds in the song «Radio Ga Ga» by the British rock band Queen (The Works, 1984). Later addictions spread to
pop, rock and hip-hop music. But one feeling did not leave him, that somewhere in the world, in the vast expanse of other countries, a completely different musical story lived. In the mid-90s, Yury first heard Techno. At the same time, musical taste and preferences as a listener formed finally.
In 2012 Yury Rets professionally engaged in music. Having studied the art of DJ, since 2016 Yury is «сдвиг» project ideologist and founder of the same name parties. Yury Rets gives special importance to the final effect in his sets, it's simple - the performance of an artist must make people dance. Playing raw and fast techno with mind-bending hues, the artist experiences a storm of emotions by himself, moving to the beat of the music along with the dance floor.
Diving into the world of techno sound, he realizes that he has a strong desire to create his own music. Over time he understands that a computer is not a suitable tool for him, Yury begins a journey into the wondrous world of analogue drum machines, synthesizers and samplers, gradually eliminating the computer from the process of writing tracks. He has released his music on American Labrynth, Riga Datenbits, Spanish Tetrao and Diffuse Reality, Italian [R]3volution, Argentinian Concepto Hipnotico.
Yury Rets performances and music are the professional work of an artist who has a love for electronic music beauty with all his heart. Extensive musical erudition and love for the rhythmic beauty of techno allowed Yury to find his own unique style.
