Our Story

Kage Nightclub was an alternative music nightclub situated in St.Andrews Lane from 2007 to 2016. For its final year it ran as a monthly night at Conroy’s Basement. Kenny Gray and David Crowe took ownership of the original Club Cage on Thursday 13th December 2007 and built it up as Dundee’s premiere alternate nightclub. The duo sold the club to another party on Saturday 1st August 2015. Unfortunately the venue closed it doors for good in November of 2016. Dismayed by its quick demise, Kenny Gray resurrected the Kage name as an alternative club night at Conroy’s Basement. The first one was held on Saturday 17th December 2016. The weekend of 15th/16th December 2017 we celebrated the Tenth and final anniversary of Kage Nightclub.
