Introducing Gramma Frog - the inspiration behind one of the characters we are exploring for Wren’s Recipes. This ceramic frog once perched in Shawna’s grandma’s kitchen window. Now, it finds its home in Shawna’s, serving as a reminder of her grandma’s warmth, laughter and mischievous humour. Shawna can still remember her grandma’s strong hands kneading dough, sautéing onions and slicing cabbage as she crafted the most delicious recipes.

Working on something new...

Welcome! We're pleased that you stopped by. At the moment, we are a puppet/theatre piece in development. We hope you'll enjoy following our adventures here as we bring our ideas to the stage.

‘Wren’s Recipes’ will follow the journey of a 10-year-old girl who discovers that there is magic behind the Ukrainian dishes she and her grandmother make together in their cottage kitchen from ingredients grown in their garden. When her grandmother suddenly falls ill, Wren finds a recipe book that may hold the key to a cure. As Wren uncovers the secrets behind the recipes, she moves ever closer to a sinister presence lurking within the pages.
