After 10 years of working and doing ministry at I am stepping away to go full time with my business and to spend more time with my family.

It’s a bittersweet feeling to be leaving a place that I’ve spent so much of my life. I’m so thankful for the time I’ve had here and how much I’ve grown over the years as a filmmaker and editor. This is such a huge step and I’m excited for what the next chapter holds.

Since today is my last day at work, these cuties came to visit!

Hey Hey! What’s up friends?

I’ve been pretty MIA on social the past couple years, so I wanted to just give an update and try to reconnect with all of you on the interwebs.

Life is pretty hectic these days since the birth of our twins last year. But we’re finding our step and miraculously finding time for sleep, mostly thanks to my wife being an incredible mom.

I started this company in 2014 (rebranded in 2018). So this year I’m celebrating 10 years of making wedding films, pretty wild!

This year I’m dedicated to improving my filmmaking and my brand. One way is through a mastermind with my friends John, Nick and the team over at It’s been an invaluable community, and really challenges me to dig deep into why I love shooting weddings. Thanks for the referral.

I’ve struggled with my relationship with social media because I’ve felt it’s so commercialized. Every time I would get on to post I found myself scrolling through reels wasting time I could have been doing something productive like spending time with my family, editing, or collaborating with people in the real world, so I just stopped getting on and almost never posted anything.

When I would post it was just to get people to see my work and it always felt like I was talking through the business’ voice. So I found my posts to feel in-genuine just trying to appease the algorithm.

So this time around I’m going to post through my own voice and make some real connections on here.

I’ve been shooting A LOT, and have a ton of stuff to share. So I’m going to do my best to post every week. So DM if you want to connect fer real! 🤙🏼

Adding archive home footage and photos is one of my favorite ways to help tell my couples full love story! Especially when I can use it over the couple talking about that time in their life. I love seeing those visuals of the story rather than strictly just documenting the wedding day. The story is so much bigger than just one day! Sometimes I like to grab an empty plastic cup or bottle lying around and throw it in front of my lens for some prism effects. Tonight I found a cup that fit perfectly around my lens got it wet and cut off the bottom half. I’m pretty stoked with the results. I started with the effect pretty aggressive and then cut more of the cup off to get it to a nice sweet spot with plenty of refractions but still able to see most of the frame in focus. Try it out! Lemme know how it goes :)
