We have a passion for giving new life to forgotten pieces, so most of our inventory has been found, generously donated, or carefully thrifted. When I received the inquiry for this Netflix event I was like 🤯 💃🏻
Then I saw that it was 6 days before my due date and I was like 😬 🤰🏻 ⁣
Then I was like STEVE! I don’t care if I’m giving birth the day of this event, I have to make this work! 🤔 ⁣
Surprise - the baby came early, so 18 days after giving birth, I packed up a 15 foot truck for my biggest event since starting this business in 2020 💪🏼⁣ 🎉

I provided rentals for Amanda’s wedding a few years ago and when she saw my rentable paper flowers, she inquired about purchasing some for her daughter’s nursery!⁣ 🌸 🌺

She just picked up a few dahlias and she plans to use them for her daughter’s first birthday, so stay tuned for that!

Our Story

When I started planning my wedding in the fall of 2018, I knew I wanted something unique and funky. After choosing my dream venue, an empty warehouse in Brooklyn, I was excited to fill it up with furniture, flowers, and decor! While researching rentals, I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, which was so frustrating. Then I realized, thanks to my hobby of collecting and refurbishing vintage furniture, that I had the exact collection of furniture and decor that I wanted at my wedding! That got me thinking...What if I furnished my own wedding? Then that got me thinking even further...What if I started MY OWN COMPANY?! I decided to turn my hobby of collecting and refurbishing furniture into my dream job, and here we are!

We have a GROWING collection of upholstered seating, antique furniture, unique decor, and vintage dinnerware perfect for your special event, whether it is a bridal shower, baby shower, wedding, or simply a gathering with friends!

Be sure to check out our website for more! If you don’t see something you love immediately, keep checking back because new inventory is always being added! I am so grateful that I seem to have eyes all over the neighborhood with friends and family finding furniture for me to add to the inventory. Luckily, I also have a patient and helpful fiancé who lends me his muscles when needed!

Something Taylored Rentals is new to the event rental scene and we still have a long way to go to prove ourselves to our clients and well-established rental companies, but everyone has to start somewhere, right?
