Bringing this FUTURISTIC FORTIETH to life was all kinds of incredible, and rightly so as it was for a very special soul, a @junie_poonie Bride who is all kinds of magical herself. Give a girl a theme, and she'll bring it to life with her dreamteam! With lashings of arieal drapes, metallic swags, telescopic tubing, discoballs, chrome, and silvers galore, yes, even the cake! (Cakes should I say!) Throw in an array of discoball clad unicorns and tigers, a dj that can't help but keep a dancefloor banging, a venue that couldn't have been more accommodating (as the original venue cancelled with just over a week to go!) And it's nothing short of a FUTURISTIC FORTIETH POONIE PARTY. CORPORATE CHRISTMAS - BUT MAKE IT MAGICAL. And magical it was, as guests entered the rooftop of @harrods they were not only met by the twinkling night skyline of London, but by a scent of time gone by, true Christmas, cinnamon, cloves and oranges... experiential from the offset. With a welcome drink in hand, they were guided to an immersive Personalisation Station, where guests were presented with a beautiful Christmas Gift, all ready to be wrapped, boxed and personalised with a handmade leather tag, by our in-house team including our favourite Leather Artisan along with our Chief Wrapper -Upper. Allowing guests to pick and choose their gifts and goodies, enjoy their evening, and have them hand delivered to them by the end of the evening. Florals were designed to be present but not overpowering, in the brand coloursways of our client, with elements of additional tones and textures of various silky ribbons adorned to vases and foliage Watching our clients guests leave with their incredible gifts, all boxed ready to place under their tree after an evening of entertainment, exceptional service from @studiofrantzenlondon and filling their cups with delicious cocktails and connections was all kinds of magical, having a beautiful boxed gift, their eyes lighting up with delight and joy. I believe we may be on Santa's Good list, having 60 wrapped, boxed, personalised, and finished with Christmas berries sensational gifts, along with the styling and florals... DEAR DESTINATION LOVERS. I see you, I feel you. I know it can feel a little overwhelming, along with the excitement of it all. OH GOSH. IT'S HAPPENING! I'm saying it outloud and making myself accountable. POONIE PRINTS are coming back, baby! For so long I've created the most sensational weddings and events, stationery and branding, my prints and cards were left behind, yet something inside me is yearning to share my creativity with you all, for what was once my only offering, cards and stationery, is coming back! I'm currently playing with some incredible limited edition home and interiors prints, and of course, being the Christmas Fairy I am, I'm working on a Christmas Collection of both cards and seasonal prints! SUNSET COCKTAILS. Trust me when I say this is a MUST for DESTINATION WEDDINGS. Gathering all your loved ones, family, friends, & guests the night before your big day for sunset sips and nibbles is the way forward. Firstly, everyone gets to meet, you get to see, welcome, and thank all your guests for travelling to your chosen destination. (Tick) It extends the celebrations by another day, making the journey worth it and giving that little something extra to your guests. (Tick) It sets the scene. Sunsets are magical. Being surrounded by your friends and family the night before in a sensational setting really does elevate theirs and your overall experience. (Tick) It's not a late night! I'm pretty strict on this, it clearly states it in the invite, 'Sunset sips & nibbles' I recommend only 2.5 - 3hrs max, 6-9/6.30-9.30pm latest, with a Lovers Departure time on there, so guests know that the Happy Couple won't be staying out all night, (now this is where its magical... The happy couple say their goodbyes, have taxis orders, usually with a gyros stop *or any local cheeky snack stop, and depart... Now for the guests, its up to them, most leave as they have a wedding to get to the next day....BUT...BUT...stay with me... for those wild child's and party animals, I let them be... fill your boots, as it means, they aren't going to be like a bull in a China shop on a very special day, they'll have released all their energy, gone nuts, whatever they wish... they'll then be on their best behaviour. (Sneaky, but so worth it, we all know sun, alcohol, emotions of a wedding day etc etc... let them do their do the night before!...big fat Tick!) Plus, you'd be silly not to want to take in all the magic moments with your favourite people who have travelled far and wide for you... This beautiful Sunset Cocktail Party for Joe & Georgia was everything and then some. Guests were dressed in white, the venue was set on the rocky shores overlooking Rethymno Old Town in the

MAY YOU ALWAYS FIND EACH OTHER, LIKE THE RIVER FINDS THE SEA. My heart is still pounding. My head is still spinning and my soul will be forever grateful for what was such an incredible few days of celebrations for Joe & Georgia's wedding on the beautiful Greek Island of Crete. Two beautiful & super stylish souls, and two incredible days of celebrating their love with their nearest and dearest. Starting their Pre Wedding Sunset Celebrations at a cocktail lounge on the rocks of The Old Town of Rethymno, they gathered their loved ones for a White Night. Nothing late or wild, with the bride and her bridal party being whisked off just after 9pm with a gyros in hand for an early night before what would be her last night as a Miss. Then, onto their sensational day at Agreco Farm, from the offset both Joe & Georgia knew they wanted something and somewhere special to share 'The Marriage' as Joe constantly referred to it as, with a handful of my recommendations they flew out to Crete and fell in Love with Agreco Farm, set high above in the Cretan Hills, overlooking mountains, farmland, villages and the sea; with its village square, farm, church and so many other spaces, it wasn't long before I was back on a flight with Georgia and her Maid of Honour to Crete to plan and design what would be, something that will stay with me forever and a day. With months of planning, prepping, and liaising with my trusted suppliers both in the UK and in Crete the day finally came... and what a day and night it was. (What a TEAM it was.) I'll never have enough words to show my gratitude to all involved in playing their part in bringing the vision I had in my heart and my head to life to create such a beautiful celebration of Joe & Georgia's Love. There will be plenty more of this wedding to show, I can't sleep with the excitement, but to my team, in Crete, Qatar and the UK... I bloody love you, and to Joe & Georgia... BEHIND THE SCENES. The pile, the prep & the pretty. You could be fooled into thinking styling, planning and producing weddings and events in the UK and Overseas is all kinds of glamorous... DO NOT BE FOOLED, I REPEAT... DO NOT BE FOOLED. Don't get me wrong, it's all kinds of magical, witnessing moments that will stay with you forever and a day, creating visions only known deep down in souls, bringing it all together in sensational settings... its incredible. But there's no fairy god mother... I am her, she is me. Today comprises of: Collecting all stationery from my Printhouse. Checking all items coming with me to Greece Triple checking those items Ensuring I have enough batteries (36 needed on last count... plus spares!) Carefully packing all items into 3 extra large suitcases, and ordering an extra case! Washing 80 charger plates. (That will be rewashed again on arrival in Greece) Finalise all elements and finances with the venue and suppliers... And that's only my morning.... WHEN THE COWES GOT WED IN THE OLD COW COW SHED. When a rugby loving pair mentioned they wanted to get married in @oldcowshed as they were going to be 'THE COWES' I knew just how we could play on this, but in a super stylish, sleek and contemporary way. It would be all too easy to go along the traditional lets do this, or that.... nope. Not on my watch! We would incorporate COWES, but 'Classy Cowes' ... keeping it super simple, meant we could play with the same element throughout, with all white florals (& a touch of Thistle as a nod to the Grooms Scottish heritage) allowed us to really have some fun, but with no cost to the aesthetic. Matte gold COWES were dotted throughout the tablescapes, within the aisle styling and in sporadic spots within the venue, the same cool silhouette was used on all stationery and signature, simple, stylish, yet on their wedding " brand".... I don't do wedding trends, I create Wedding Brands... (It's the Branding and Marketing soul in me from a previous life) but it works, trends come and go, but a good brand will stand the test of time... like a good marriage. Holy Cowe... I believe this Wedding brand was nailed... they were over the 'MOO'n. TELL ME YOU'RE A STYLIST, WITHOUT TELLING ME YOU'RE A STYLIST. I'll go first! You have corporate meetings in a City where you know there's a @hmhome store, so you plan in an instore visit before the meetings, with timings in place to be able to collect your goodies post meetings. H&M Home is a go-to for me, for all things interiors, set design and wedding and event styling. With insane designs and beautiful quality products (plus a membership that's actually worth signing up with real money off and extra members discounts), what's not to love. It's when you see your membership points in the thousands and your buddies in the tens, that you realise just how much you love it! Another fun fact of 'tell me you're a stylist without telling me you're a stylist'... Ask my Husband and Son what's my favourite thing to do on my birthday... yep...an undisturbed, no timescale visit to store, to swoon, stroke, smell and shop, shop, shop. Side note, I may have booked another extra case at 0433 this morning for my destination wedding in Greece in a couple of weeks after this haul...
