On Sunday, January the 19th, I will be hosting 2 FREE Virtual Events for ALL ages anywhere in the world. Join me for a Strawberry Jam Class at 9:30AM PST and Homemade Buttermilk Biscuit Class at 1:00PM PST! I don't have the social media flyer ready at the moment, but if you would like to join, please send me a private message or comment below and I will send you the registration information. I didn't know what else to do today to cope with how I'm feeling. So I'm baking cookies from leftover frozen cookie dough and feeling grateful for the tiny moments when I can feel something other than fear.

Just so you all know, I'm planning to host some free public virtual baking events soon for anyone who wants a break from all of the craziness and just hang out and bake with me.

I guess life goes on even when everything is absolutely crazy. My beautiful city of Los Angeles is burning down, but in this little pocket of Sun Valley, you would have never known anything wasn't the way it always is.

I'm grateful that my apartment is still here and untouched by fire and that I was able to create some joy out in the world today. Creating joy for others made my own heart feel happier and less afraid.

This week has been so devastating, terrifying, and unbelievable. There are no words. Sending all of my love and prayers to the people of .

I love Los Angeles. I love the people, I love the opportunities, I love being near the ocean and the mountains, and I love that this is a place where you can create anything you want and people will help you support you.

The past few days have been absolutely devastating and sooo scary.

As of now, the fires are moving out of my neighborhood, and I am safe and sound. The evacuation mandates in my neighborhood have been lifted, and nothing on my street had been touched by the fires.

I'm so grateful to have amazing people in my life who have taken me in and given me hugs and a safe place to sleep. ❤️🙏

I'm over here thinking today will be the day I stop eating all of the things... and well, it's just not happening. Haha!...

I'm not sure how this all happened really, but one day, things started shifting, and suddenly, I had people working for me, and my business started growing in ways I never imagined. And I honestly couldn't be more grateful.

What a fun ride this has been. I created my business back in 2011, and it has been steadily growing, shifting, and changing throughout all of these years.

It hasn't always been an easy road and sometimes (especially in December) there's so much on my plate that if I blink, I might miss something, but for someone who has never fit into "the boxes" that seem to be for everyone else, this was a way I could live a life that made sense for me.

When people ask me what I do for a living, I say I create joy and fun with people all over the world! 🙏 To find your purpose and then to watch your own dreams come true... it's the best thing ever.

Next up... I want to get myself on it's been a dream of mine for several years to do a baking segment with her around her birthday or anytime, really.

Here's to 2024, my year of pause, as I processed some deep grief and heartbreak. And now, at the end of this year, I feel ready and excited about whatever is coming in 2025! It feels big! Stay tuned!

Let's make these delicious and healthy cookies! No refined sugars! Whole grains! Vegan/ Dairy Free. Can be made w/ gluten-free oats. Preheat oven to 350 In a bowl: Mash up 2 very ripe bananas. Add in 1 cup uncooked quick oats 1- 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (or other nuts) 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional) Scoop out onto a sprayed baking pan and bake for 15 minutes. #healthyfood #healthychoices
