Artists including musicians and especially young adults need an outlet to share their art and to be validated, and supported emotionally and financially therefor we provide these opportunities directly through targeted festivals and events, plus indirectly, by including them in a broader range of FUNdraisers and additional community events. We are working with various nonprofits and not-for-profits to help them increase their visibility resulting in increased volunteerism and monetary donations. Bottom Up
Through a “Bottom Up” mindset we are creating individual ownership and ensuring that the final details are needed and wanted by all involved including the prospective advertisers, sponsors and attendees.

Probably not but if you are in the audience when the players ask for a word or a suggestion to start the next Improv scene, you can certainly yell, "BUTT"!

The NEW Puzzled Players of Greater Binghamton (PPers)-Improv 101
Our Improv 101 FUNshops will get you engaged in a lively, dynamic, and interactive workshop based on the principles of improv performance. No acting or performing experience is necessary but participants eager to be part of a performing team at the Puzzled Players Theater will be required to excel in this workshop.
In addition to performing for the public, these improvisation skills are key components in both professional and personal interactions. Experiencing them is an effective way to learn communication, empathy, trust, innovation, creativity, teamwork, and more. Through improv, participants also learn to “fail” but in a supportive environment. They see first-hand how so-called mistakes can produce “happy accidents” that lead to innovative ideas.
What You Will Learn: Participants will learn and practice the basic techniques and skills used by all improvisers. (Agreement, Acceptance, Building on an Offer, Staying Present, Statements rather than Questions, Listening, more.) You will also learn and practice several of the warm-up exercises, drills, and Improv Games that the PPers use in their rehearsals and shows. All classes are taught by Russ The BIG Guy, Founder and Creative Director of The NEW Puzzled Players of Greater Binghamton.
How it Works: In a small group setting, participants will interact in a non-judgmental and relaxed, but structured workshop. There will be opportunities to explore and play as Russ uses demonstrations and side coaching to reinforce specific concepts and guide students to discover new skills. The freedom to experience the success created when these skills are applied properly creates “a-ha” moments for the participants. Research proves that this kind of immersive experiential learning is far superior to lectures. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes as you will be on your feet and moving around often.
