We had so much fun this week welcoming the students of Logan County High School back. That we are excited to announce we will be welcoming the students of Russellville High School back on Tuesday!! Excited to be back at Logan County High School on Wednesday for the first day of school!! I’ll be setup at the car rider drop off area! We hope to bring lots of smiles and energy for a great 2024! Had a blast this afternoon DJing for the veterans plus 1 meal. Always great to play music locally and to hang out with our veterans! Thank you Connie Kisselbaugh Page for calling us. For years I was hesitant to get a DJ controller. I did not want to lose the interaction with wedding guest, or just become a DJ that stands back behind the booth. After making the switch wedding guests love the fun play on words, or combining songs together! What are some of your favorite song combos???

A beautiful day at The White Stone Barn to celebrate the marriage of Zach and Mallory! Plus celebrating with the Whitson and Yates families, and partying with lots of familiar faces tonight! Although it was a hot one today it didn’t stop the good times and all the love in the building! What a blast this week has been, getting to DJ and emcee for Vacation Bible School! This years theme was “Start the Party”, so it was only fitting to call the party starter himself!! Thankful for the opportunity to serve, and be apart of such a phenomenal week with my church family!
What a great weekend to celebrate Logan and McKenzie. I had a blast getting to help coordinate their rehearsal dinner on Friday and then party today. I love weddings that are close to home because you get to see so many familiar faces. It truly was a beautiful afternoon to celebrate such a sweet couple! What a remarkable opportunity to provide sound this morning for the opening ceremony of The Wall that Heals. This is a traveling 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Veteran Memorial in Washington, D.C. Seeing the color guard, the names, meeting veterans, learning more about the war, and pay respects is such a great experience. They are setup in Russellville, KY till Sunday afternoon, 24 hours a day. Please go check this out!
A truly fantastic wedding weekend!! We “played two today”! DJ (Nick) True, partied with John and Emily in Adariville, KY! I know he brought a lot of fun, and told me that they came in ready to dance and sing!! Shoutout to Shane Hicks and Brad Rogers for allowing us to borrow some extra equipment to make this possible!
This evening I had the honor to DJ and party with Dino and Abby in Bowling Green! A beautiful venue (Ironwood) and a great moment of live worship during the ceremony. Plus lots of great dancing tonight!

Tonight’s wedding was phenomenal! We ventured through tornado warnings, thunderstorms, lots of rain, and even no power until after the ceremony. But it didn’t stop the fun!! Andrew and Autumn were a dream couple to serve today. From our FaceTime last week I could tell this was going to be a wedding you didn’t want to miss! They know how to have fun, and truly enjoyed every minute of the day today no matter the circumstances! We danced, sang, and partied all night long! Thank you for the prayers while traveling today. Sunday, funday! Today we had the privilege to celebrate Mr. & Mrs. Steven and Lindsay Pentecost. This crowd was a lot of fun, and we spent the whole afternoon and evening dancing and singing! It was my honor to be the DJ tonight for Mr. & Mrs. Lane and Hayley Harrell. You could tell from the rehearsal dinner the night before that the love in the venue was genuine that they have for each other. (even with a lot of UK and UT fans at the wedding!) Kristin and I were honored to have them at our wedding a couple weeks before, and we are blessed to call them our friends! Nights like tonight are the reason that I keep doing this. Had a blast this afternoon at B.H. James Distillers in Adairville today for the first slushy Saturday of the year (the old fashion, and strawberry lemonade were fantastic). Plus we had a chance to break out our mixer and try some new things today!
This evening we celebrated with the 8th grade class of Auburn school! What a fun bunch of kids, and I know they are all looking forward to high school, just don’t know about the parents… haha! Thanks Lindsey Hendricks for calling us!

We had a blast tonight celebrating with the Logan County JROTC! What a fun group of kids. We played a little bit of everything tonight from Dasha, Queen, Usher, Nickelback, and Toby Keith! I can’t wait for next year to do this event again! Congratulations to all the students graduating, and those students who are going to keep up the great work at both Russellville and Logan County schools!
