Zander's Baby Blessing today included a blessing with Holy Water from the Vatican and a family sand ceremony. The foundation of the sand ceremony was sand from his parents wedding sand ceremony. Next his brothers' and his sand were poured and then it was topped with more sand from his parents wedding. Soon there will be a family photo in that frame.

Today's Baby Blessing brought me to the Buffalo area. Landon's ceremony included promises from the parents and godparents, bead blessings from friends and family (to go on the beautiful dreamcatcher his mom made) and Landon watering the dogwood tree planted by his parents.

Our Story

I was ordained in 2003 in conjunction with my Reiki practice. I am a Reiki Master Teacher. I began officiating weddings in 2004. Since that time I have been blessed to unite over 700 couples in marriage in over 150 locations. I have had the pleasure of staying connected with these couples (and meet new ones!) when I officiated their Baby Blessings.

Our paths have also crossed in the most unusual and unexpected places out in the world- in the grocery store, at restaurants, in the maternity wing, at friend’s weddings and even on vacation in the other side of the country.

I respect all spiritual beliefs and non-beliefs and am very inclusive in my ministry. I have officiated all kinds of ceremonies for couples with all kinds of beliefs. Because the couples have the option of co-creating their ceremony it reflects their thoughts on love and relationship, spirituality and personality.

Sacred Space Spiritual Group is my monthly Meditation and Reiki group. Please message me if you would like more information. All our welcome to attend. It is a guided meditation followed by silent meditation while volunteer Reiki Practitioners give Reiki to those who want it.
