Welp. It’s time to finally tell y’all. At the end of this year, I will officially be moving to Paris to be with my beloved ❤️ I am so freaking excited for this next adventure of mine! I will be continuing taking clients in the Paris area, and will make announcements when I’m back in the US visiting in case anyone wants to do a session together.
And to all my wonderful, amazing clients - I have loved loved loved getting to know y’all, seeing you so damn happy on your wedding day, and being the one who has gotten to immortalize all the precious moments that happen come wedding time. You all have made my dream of owning my own photography business come true ❤️

Was this a party or was this a party?! I loved everything about this wedding - the venue (), the decor (.studio, ), the DJ (), the photo booth (), the amazing planning team (), and of course the couple of the year, & ! I especially love when weddings have an untraditional, unique flare, which was very important for Susannah & Jim for their wedding! I think it turned out pretty amazingly, don’t you agree? 🥰

The first photo is one I took a few years ago at one of the most awesome weddings with such a fun couple! It was this photo of them that inspired something I still do today - asking my couples to strike a pose at the end of the aisle and flip me that bling! So come wedding day, expect me to ask you to do this too! ☺️ and if you wish, take it a step further and get really silly or dramatic with it, because for real this is one of my favorite moments of your wedding 🥰
One of my favorite engagement sessions ever! These cuties opted for extra time for their engagement session, and man did we take advantage of it. Definitely one of my favorite locations in Birmingham!
A few months ago, I had the amazing opportunity of photographing these two’s elopement in New York City! It was just the most special experience ❤️ & .hp.17 just oozed love, not only for one another (legit they could not stop kissing one another and it was the cutest) but for the family and friends who were included in their day as well. Sometimes I am so humbled in the face of true love, and these beautiful humans’ love is the stuff of legends ❤️
This past weekend I had the honor to photograph & wedding, and I loved every minute of it, especially watching how adorable and in love these two are. I’ve known Katie since high school, and let me tell you, she is one of the kindest, most genuinely beautiful souls on this planet. Whenever I have a client book me, I am truly so incredibly grateful to be the one to capture your commitment to one another, and when Katie reached out to me, it was definitely one of those “she picked me! 🥰🤯” moments. And this weekend we finally got to immortalize their love ❤️ thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all my sweet and wonderful clients. Y’all make my “job” so amazing!

Been slacking on posting lately - because I’ve been SWAMPED with weddings literally every weekend since August, and every weekend further till November, when engagement and family season is upon me. Needless to say, editing everyone’s gorgeous wedding day comes first on my priorities list, and Instagram, well, not so much 😂😘 see y’all in a few weeks!

This getting ready suite at was a photographer’s DREAM to shoot in, with a dream of a bride to photograph 🥰 highly recommend big windows and fun mirrors in the space you get ready on wedding day!

Had SUCH an amazing time with these two at their engagement shoot last weekend! We explored all over downtown Birmingham, and geez do I love downtown photoshoots. These cuties KILLED it, and clearly their audience thought so too 😍
These two get married tomorrow at and to say I’m excited is a ginormous understatement 🥳 we had so much fun at their engagement session, and I fully expect their wedding to be just as amazing!
This moment right here. I don’t cry a lot at weddings (tear up, absolutely) but this one had me sobbing. I never really knew either of my grandmothers, but oh how I wish I did. Some of my favorite photos today are of me being held in my Grandmother Mann’s lap, barely 2 years old, and already knowing how much I loved her. And I’m so grateful to have those photos of us now, all these years later. People are too precious not to have photos of ❤️
The dreaded “laugh and look at each other” prompt. I get it - it feels awkward AF to be fake laughing with people you may or may not know. But to be totally frank, these photos make the best photos with your wedding party.
So something I try to tell every wedding party is this: when you’re hanging out with your friends, you’re not just sitting around staring at each other blankly, you’re laughing and talking and laughing some more.
And though these photos can feel a bit awkward, they totally encapsulate your relationships with the person/people you’re at the wedding for.
So next time you’re asked to be in the wedding party of one of your closest friends, do the photographer a favor and keep that laughter up so that the married couple gets great photos to look back on 🥰
Now that this beauty is married I can finally post my favorites from our bridal session together last month! I love bridal sessions because they allow us to more time to photograph all the beauty that is you. Wedding day can often feel like “go go go go!” and sometimes we don’t have the opportunity to do as many creative individual photos day of. So if you’re thinking about adding a bridal session, I say go for it! Let’s celebrate all things you! ❤️

Do these two look ecstatic to be engaged or what? 😍😍😍 we had so much fun during their Botanical Gardens engagement session - these two were constantly laughing! We may have even inadvertently crashed a wedding during our session 😂 needless to say, we had an adventure! Their December wedding can’t come soon enough! 🥳
