In a World where the expectations are to meet the socially acceptable constitutions, the socially/family/friends expectations....where did it become the norm to negate, debunk, demolish, lay down our own desires, wants, needs when it comes to Your Wedding? When did it become expected that you would do what thousands of other couples did and continue trends, patterns, designs, colours, guest lists

etc just to appease the masses? I get you might have to please a mum here, a sister there....but really.....is that the stuff that brings the joy to the cockles of your heart? Probs Not.! So let me help you both shake this s**t up! I'm critically acclaimed for my non-mainstream views, ideas and conducting of ceremonies. (*seriously...lol, people are critical) but that's because there's no one else doing or can do what I do. And that scares people..lol. But I promise I won't lead you astray...I'll help you create the best version of your Ceremony and ensure it's all you hoped for and then some! I'm professional but creative with a love of crazy fun, comical tones, banter, sarcasm and all sprinkled with a joy and love that will warm all your fuzzy bits!! Let's Chat!

Pam & Steve have favourite people, but by far, they are each other's favourite person.
I've known Pam & the her family for around 15 years now. I know them well, and I Love them. They were always so good to me, and I was / am one of the family, even now. So when Pam came to me early 2025, and asked if I'd marry them, it was an easy Yes. I also hoped I wasn't booked, as my April 26 was filling fast. (Unusual to say the least).
Thankfully I was available, and I locked it in.
Pam is a natural fun wild child. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LAUGHING HARD whenever she's in a room or around. She has this natural fun, weird but hilarious personality you are drawn to. She's also a Master in Sarcastic dialogue, (not too much in the mean girls way, just fun) but you don't take her on, she will shut you down, and we ALL love her for it. Steve has gotten used to it, but he is a match for Pam, which makes sense. They were made for each other.
They are both of the same mind about supporting those they love and are dead set serious about putting each other first.
Its an absolute treat to witness.
At one of our meetings, Pam let us know she had collected 6 dresses to choose from, as one of her limited superpowers is making certain decisions...lol. But her choice in the end had her looking absolutely Gorgeous. And Steve's eyes said it all. He was besotted as she walked up to him.
Shanelle from , Pam's cousin and with her hubby Patrick, who are also dear friends of mine & whom I married to, caught all the memories and they are amazing pictures.
I am so thankful I got asked to be part of their day.
You know though when you're not doing to badly when one of the cousin-in-laws who you're also close to, says you won't be marrying her & her partner because "you know too much"! That was pretty hilarious...lol. But thats always my aim, whether Ive known you forever or not, I've done my job if I get to know who you both are, and can create your ceremony around that. Thats always a good takeaway!

When I say I'm so lucky with my couples, these are the couples that make it all worthwhile.
We met not that long ago, and instantly we not only got on like a good beer and antipasto platter, but we actually had very similar lives, up bringing and sense of humours 😀.
These 2 are Ex-service personnel and being the ever patriotic defence force Brat I am, a wedding on ANZAC DAY felt right.
In the Rose Gardens at New Farm Park, these two on a standard Drizzly ANZAC day morning said We Do forever.
And with their Kids, their Families and friends, it was an absolute humbling experience but also an absolute hoot.
These 2 have wicked senses of humour and so did their guests.
I felt like I'd known them for decades.
And if I do say so myself, I absolutely loved and nailed this ceremony.
Josh & Bec were awesome to work with and I was so thrilled to have been part of their day âĪïļ

These Two were the epitome of "work hard and save for the day you want". And thats what they did. They both worked so damn hard as Katelyn had a vision, and Tyson also had a vision. Together they planned a day that suited their wants and dreams. And they had all the right people to share it with.
It truly was a wonderful day.
And whilst they planned their day, I planned their Ceremony. And I had alot of fun doing it.
One of my favourite things was Katelyns Dress....you cant tell me a Black Dress doesn't capture Beauty and absolute Gorgeousness. And it also comes down to who's wearing the Dress too..and these 2 knocked looking Absolutely Hectic out of the park.
It really was a beautiful day.

I love his perspective. I've always said "do it your way", and some times couples just want something simple and meaningful to them. And this makes that point. Either way, as long as couples get to choose how their Wedding Day goes, thats all that matters ðŸĨ°

PAYMENT PLANS & NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEES: Ive had a few emails lately regarding setting up payment plans, and I not long ago sent out an email suggesting that payment plans are a great way to keep ontop of your payments for the Fees of Service quoted for. Especially if you're booking me to do multiple roles on your day, such as: Celebrant and MC.
The problems however that can occur when an installment is missed, is people can be embarrassed and communication around this issue can become challenging. Even to where the couple/person may "Ghost" you on this issue. Yes, its happened to me.
I want to assure you, that there are "NO JUDGEMENTS or SHAME" from me. I am approachable and we will always sort it out.
However, I won't be taken for a goof, if it keeps happening, another discussion is had, but a more serious conentation will be implored.
*So please, if you have missed an installment, or having financial difficulties, please message me asap so we can sort it out.
*If you have a payment plan insitu, please keep note of dates payments are due.
*And also remember, you can make payments at any time if you do or don't have a plan in place.
As for:
NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE:
I can't book your date in without this (NRBF) being paid. It secures your date and ensures that I have taken that date out of availability, as I only do 1 Wedding per day. It means if anything pops up on that day, theres "time" potentially to sort it. I just wanted to address this again, as it is something that keeps coming up.

Hi All.
Another year of some Epic & Awesome Weddings coming up. My wedding season is a little weird this year, as its kicking off next week, and I'm in the thick of it for the next few months, which I love.
Today, I just wanted to remind those seeking a Celebrant and fir current Clients. We all know things are a little more expensive where Weddings are concerned. And a few weeks ago, I sent out to my couples the idea of payment plans are absolutely fine with me. Because the last thing I want is for my couples to feel the pressure of outstanding balances. In saying that to. I do remind all of my couples that on your invoices, there is a PAID IN FULL date, which requires balances/outstanding amounts need to be paid by.
And like many of us, we get caught up and forget to make payments. I'm not a "meany", lol. Life happens. Have a chat with me, and we'll always work something out.
So, just a reminder:
No confirmation of booked date until a Non-refundable booking fee is paid.
Payment plans are doable, and we can work that out.
And a date is set on your invoice to have payment in full made by. Usually 7 -14 days out.
So if you're one of my couples, just check your invoice.
If you want to sort payment plans, happy to chat, and please ensure you don't stress yourself out regarding payments.
Nothing worse than outstanding amounts across your vendors and things feel a little overwhelming.
And for mmy couples who's Weddings are not that far away ðŸŦķ, please ensure your final payments are made. And for my other couples, feel free to ebb away at your fees if that helps too.

Just a quick and delayed Happy New Year to all of my Family, Friends and my Previous and New Couples.
Here's hoping that this year, we all find opportunities to take that better us & our circumstances. That we find joy in all we do, with a tonne of love and laughter that will fill our days!
May the blessings find us always, even if we're in the "thick" of it. May our souls be at peace no matter our situation.
And to all of us, I pray we find fulfilment from within, not like the past where we would at times seek affirmations and approvals from others or objects.
Many Happy Returns to you all, and I may have been quiet on the socials this past year or so, but I'm hoping moving forward, I'm brave enough to get back out in front of the lens and remind you and me that I'm pretty funny and I love what I do. A month ago I got to marry an amazing mate of mine, Emma to a man that changed her whole world. Who is the absolute love of her life! Jai! See, ive known Emma since we started our nursing journey over 14 years ago. In that time, Em has referred me countless times to friends of hers, including to her Dad, whom I married to the gorgeous Linda earlier this year. So it was an absolute humbling experience for me to ensure I gave Emma and Jai the best ceremony and reception as their Celebrant and MC. And that Dress! It had us all gazing jealously and had Jai gazing in ways I can't explain here....ðŸŦĢ😂. I knew a few of the guests here, including another couple Colin & Priscilla who not only are best mates with Em, but who Em also referred and who I married 6 years ago, which is where Emma met Jai. At Colins Bucks weekend! Lol. That's how cool Emma is. She was also Colins GroomGal, and rocked a suit like no bodies business! But here, on her and Jais Wedding Day, she owned that Dress...and Jai's heart. And i had the ALL the emotions. The day was filled with so much love, fun and laughter, and you could hear Emma's laugh from all over Toowoomba I'm sure...lol. on hand we had Anthony Jackson Media, who I've worked with before, and he really is a stand out Photographer. He can read the play, adjust and make any camera shy muppet feel right at home infront of the lense. You really should check him out for your photo needs. Anyhoot, I will always feel extremely blessed to have helped my friends have a day they hoped for. And I swear, whilst I know Emma & Jai did have an amazing day, these are the kind of days you wish you could go back and do all over again. Emma & Jai, thank you for having me and thank you for letting me share in one of the BEST days of your lives! Happy 1 month! 😂âĪïļðŸ˜˜ðŸŦĢ

Oh, what a day! But wet or not? We still had a gorgeous, however a little wet ceremony.
Beth & Bernadette from worked their magic again, and the garden's were immaculate. I love working here.
Des & Rob were referred to me by Beth, and these 2 are just some of the wildest but wonderful couple I get to meet and work with.
Incorporating Hand-Fasting, Sword Ceremony & so much more, we had an amazing ceremony.
And you know you've done an exceptional job when you're hugged and congratulated by pretty much all in attendance.
I'll never get tired or sick of having the humbling roll as your Celebrant. So to Des & Rob, thankyou for trusting Beth's referral and me on getting you married just the way you wanted!
