I’m out of surgery and at home. In a little pain but not too bad. Aleve to the rescue! They said it went well. Will do post op with the surgeon April 1. Didn’t affect my vocal cords, that was my main concern. Will still rest for a couple of weeks. Thanks for your prayers…..Hallelujah!!

Sorry I haven’t said so sooner, but we really had a great time playing this past weekend. First on Friday at Smithfields CC where we had a blast playing for a he members and our friends. Everyone was so cool and complimentary, requested great songs and sang along. It was awesome and we hope Coby will have us back soon.

Then Saturday afternoon we were so glad to be back at Mountain Brook Vineyards. Great people enjoying a beautiful day! Blair and her girlfriends were beautiful and having fun for her pre wedding party. And Eli sitting there listening and enjoying his wine, very cool dude. Requested ‘Harvest Moon’ by Neil Young and we gave it our best shot. He said “wow, that was better than the original!” Coulda been the wine talking but we loved it just the same. Thanks to Sean and the entire staff for a wonderful day!!

All of you are a blessing to us and we hope we blessed you in return. LYMI!

So sorry folks, but I have to cancel our date at Maestros in Greenville this Friday. I’m having surgery Thursday and cannot strain my voice for 7 days. I’m looking forward to getting back out there Friday the 29th at Ft Inn Taproom. I will keep you updated. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. LYMI !

Twin Sons this week:

Hey folks, this week we are at Smithfields Country Club Friday for a members dinner.

Then Saturday we will finally be back at Mountain Brook Vineyards in Tryon! It’s been a while and we are so ready to play at this beautiful venue again. We are in the Barrel Room and we play from 3 to 6. Make the drive and you will not regret it. We hope to see you there.

We met a very nice couple at Paloma who liked our music and asked us to play for their wedding and reception. This is one of the songs they requested we learn and as I’ve been practicing it it is hard to hold back the tears. So beautiful…..

This week we are at one of our favorite places, Bimini’s In Greenville! We love Sharon and Paul and we always have a great time with our old friends. The staff is awesome and they will take good care of you, serving up some of the best food in town. Twin Sons this week:

Hey folks, just wanted to let you know where we’ll be this week.

On Wednesday we will be at The Brook at Brookstone for Valentines Day. Its our first time there but its part of the beautiful Brookstone golf course complex and the menu looks outstanding. Come join us and bring your special Valentine for some great food and your favorite love songs. We start at 6 and go till 8. We hope to see you there.

Then Friday we are back at City Scape Winery in Pelzer. Outstanding place with good food and wines that pair well. Come out and have some fun with us, we start at 5:30 and play till 8:30.

Big thank you to everyone who came out to Paloma last night. We had such a good time with you! It was great to see Denise and Jimmy Jackson and their friends the Creasmans. Little Taylor got up and sang with us and that was special, and her family was awesome. This nice guy shook my hand, said we were great and asked me how old I was. I told him and he said he hoped he could be doing as good at 73!! That was very cool. I give all the glory to God for being able to do what little bit I can to bring some joy and happiness to the folks who show up. Hallelujah! We hope to see you soon and I hope you know how much God has blessed you. LYMI !
