My final set of the year lands on Friday the 13th… spooky! Catch me 8pm-12am at my favourite rooftop spot in town HI-SO Rooftop Bar Friday 🥏

2024 has been one hell of a ride. Things slowed down after the incredible Matariki weekend at Funkhutt—a milestone that reminded me just how far we’ve all come. I took the space I needed to recover after an intense whirlwind of sets and festivals, and I’m so grateful for the journey.

What’s ahead for 2025?

I’m thrilled to be helping build the Hill Stage at AUM—being part of something bigger is where I thrive.

Some bittersweet changes too: I stepped down from my volunteer role as Crew Assistant at Kiwiburn and had to say no to a few opportunities this year, including with Camp Vote Love and the Zen Den at Dimension. Sometimes, you’ve got to prioritize, and I’m learning to lean into that.

As for Shipwrecked… the Janky Mermaid might not be back this year… or arrrr we in for a treat? Either way, you’ll find me hosting some poker on the Hinemoa boat as Brett “Bullion” Bronze spreading aroha with my heartiest cruising tunes. Bring your boks, schmacks, knuts, and sickles—let’s see who’s got the luck to stack the deck!

Lastly, save the date: Feb 14-16 for Naked in the Trees festival in Taumarunui. We scouted the site a couple of weekends ago, and let me tell you—it’s going to be special. Maybe it’s time to free your mind…

Great news! The Prince of Wales is now the King of England and we get a day off this Monday for his birthday in November!

I’ve had just a handful of alcoholic bevies since December so I’m giving myself a hall pass to celebrate Charles Phillip Arthur George this Friday at the best place in town for this kinda thing, InkBar.
