Reserve the Main Hall & Garden
4,500 square-foot dynamic space with its own bar, projector wall, access to the riverfront, and private garden can accommodate 300 guests for a cocktail-style reception and 225 guests seated.

The Bar
A romantic industrial space featuring a handcrafted walnut bar, custom wallpaper, natural wide planked floors and a private covered terrace overlooking the river. A uniquely memorable space to host your event.

The Speakeasy
The Gatsby-esque subterranean lounge, features its own bar and private entrance. A dark and vibey design, creates a timeless space to host groups of up to 60 guests.

Sprouts Chef Training, a nonprofit giving mentorship and culinary training to under-resourced youth, is coming to Philadelphia. Sprouts participants are paired with professional, working chef mentors who guide them through a six-week paid internship in a restaurant. The goal of the program is to give mentees the practical experience necessary to begin careers in a notoriously competitive field.

A group of Philly’s hospitality leaders are working to fundraise and build support for the program, including Ellen Yin, co-owner of High Street Hospitality and the restaurant Fork, and Fia Berisha and Nicholas Elmi, co-owners of BE Hospitality. Their goal is to raise $40,000 by the end of 2024 to support the training and compensation for a cohort of Philly chef mentees in spring 2025.

We gathered at The Pump House to hear from their board members, Founder & Executive Director Kate Rogers Mery de Bellegarde, and one of their recent graduates from the program, Nae.

Their program is currently serving youth in the Bay Area and New York City, and we know it could be a game changing opportunity for youth right here in Philadelphia! Fia Berisha is excited to be helping bring this program to our city 👏🏻
