We’ve got a brand-new beneficiary of the book drive… Make*A*Wish Alabama
We’ve got a brand-new goal… 1000 books donated to Make*A*Wish Alabama

We’ll be sharing more about each in the days to come but as a real quick overview:

The new book in the B.E. Blessed/Serendipitous collection, OH, BROTHER! is a sweet little story about how even the most bothersome sibling can become the best friend ever, exactly when it’s needed most! Add in the amazing illustrations of Ms. Grace Hart and this book is going to be loved by ALL the kids and kids at heart in your life, and it will fit in every Christmas stocking on your list!

Perhaps even better than that is the fact that we are also using the books as a way to help Lucas Rhoades in his quest to “give back” to Make*A*Wish Alabama! Lucas is an 11 year old cancer survivor who was blessed to be a Make*A*Wish Alabama wish recipient in July of 2022 when his dream to have his very own camper travel trailer was fulfilled. Lucas realizes more than most of us just how much each and every smile is worth when you’re battling such a savage opponent as cancer and he is hoping that with your help, we can all be a part of sending smiles in the form of a copy of OH, BROTHER! to sick but corageous children all over the place just in time for Christmas!

Family, Friends, Neighbors… We are so very excited to announce the newest addition to the B.E. Blessed Publications library!!!

"A Badge for Brooksie"

Join us as we follow along with Brooksie on her journey to find her dream job helping children as a fulltime courthouse facility dog!

AND We want to invite you to come to Karma's Coffee House and meet the real Brooksie on April 23rd 2022 from 4-6pm, and listen to the first live reading of A Badge for Brooksie!! We will hear from Judge Gregory Nichols and others about the benefits and availability of having a Courthouse Facility Dog right here in our community. And we will also be presenting these books to various Child advocacy groups to help raise awareness of the endless possibilities for Brooksie and other dogs to help children as well as adults in so many situations.

Until then whether you’re local or far away, whether you can attend the book launch or not, YOU CAN HELP US HELP a whole bunch of KIDDOS by pre-ordering your very own copy of Brooksie’s book. The books will be sold for $15 each and $5 from each book will be donated to your choice of our favorite Child Advocacy organizations which will be announced soon!

Y’all!! THIS was 4 yrs ago and I still couldn’t NOT share this all over again!!

THIS is why I love every wedding I've ever been blessed to help with and THIS wedding is now at the top of my very favorites list. I'm not sure I've ever worked with/for a more sweet and humble bride who is more than just "in Love" but simply and sincerely grateful to our Heavenly Father for the blessing he has given in the form of this union! And I am absolutely convinced her husband feels the same! Young love is beautiful in it's innocence, hope and inexperienced assumptions... THIS love is exquisite in it's mature experienced wisdom and knowledge of just how truly precious every minute spent in the presence of Love really is! Look closely at these faces and know... that's what true love looks like!!

Thanks to Bethany Kerr for this picture and also to her and Betsy Lee Jordan for all the others that were taken. They are amazing ladies!! As hard as it is to believe, I didn't get a single one on my own... 😱

And we are beyond exceedingly Blessed to know you ladies!!

Y’all!! THIS makes me all sorts of teary eyed HAPPY!! THIS is the kind of thing that reminds us that GOD is GOOD and GOOD abounds!!

Calling all brides currently impacted by COVID-19 (Ravenswood clients or not)!

Was your wedding scheduled for the next few weeks? Have you had to reschedule due to the outbreak? Did you already acquire your marriage license?

Ravenswood is opening up our gorgeous grounds to any couples who have been impacted by the virus who still want to have a small, intimate elopement THIS Saturday or Sunday.

Bring your officiant and your small group (10 people or less, as recommended by the CDC) and we welcome you to use our porches, grounds, etc so you can still have a small, standing elopement with a gorgeous backdrop. Because at the end of the day... you were planning a wedding, but the marriage is the most important thing and that shouldn't have to wait!
