Our Story
Fusion is a dance company created for children and teens aged between 5 and 14. Our variety of clubs include afterschool classes, competition troupes and weekend clubs. At Fusion we aim to MAKE A DIFFERENCE through dance and movement. We believe that the ability to move freely helps create the building blocks to self-confidence, happiness and creativity. Fusion was created in June 2017 and is expanding rapidly. We provide an exceptional teaching standard built around three fundamental elements, Choreography, Technique and Performance. The Company delivers classes for a variety of abilities, ages and needs. At Fusion we are looking to build your self-esteem, teach a variety of dance styles and techniques, provide a space to De-stress and give you an opportunity to showcase your talents. I have Taught dance performance to children with a range of additional needs (physical and psychological) as well as pupils working in a mainstream setting for over 8 years. I believe it is important we try to stay away from stereotypes and unnecessary restrictions and allow every pupil into an inviting and exciting space. In 2008 I gained a career altering injury which concluded my chance of becoming a professional dancer. One door closes, and another opens which is where I found my love for teaching. I went on to do a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Performance and Choreography and graduated in 2013 with a high 2:1 and have taught in Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, College and in with a Performing Arts Company.
