One of our most popular signature hot appetizers is our BBQ Bacon Shotgun Shells. We offered them at Taste of the Arts in May so hopefully you had a chance to try them! We serve them at a lot of the weddings and events we cater. We make them each by hand, and what exactly are "they"? Manicotti shells stuffed with hamburger, sausage, cheese, and bread crumbs, then wrapped in bacon, and smothered in sweet BBQ sauce and served hot!

Charcuterie is often thought of as a fall or winter offering, however we think it goes well anytime! Depending on your venue, and if it has AC or not the display may be different. This was at the Clubhouse The Orrmont Estate which has AC, so all of the fruits and cheeses were fine for cocktail hour.

We've been a little quiet on our socials, but we've been working getting everything set up and organized in the new kitchen-final inspections, Health Dept inspections, all that kind of thing, it's been busy!

But now! Menu all ready to go for Taste of the Arts in downtown Piqua on Friday evening! We're excited to be back, but this time as Baker's Catering. We'll be in the East tent where we were last year, over by Susie's and Crooked Handle. Come on out and bring your family, things to do for everyone!

Welcome to Baker's Catering! We are Tim and Janelle Baker.

You might already know us from our over 20 years of living in Piqua and raising our sons here or from owning and hosting weddings at The Orrmont Estate and the or from our recent venture owning in downtown Piqua. A little known fact is when we had the restaurant, we also catered events at our venues. Now we are focusing only on the catering, which we are extremely excited about! Helping people create the menu that fits their celebration and be within their budget is a fun process! If you know me, Janelle, you know I love a budget, and if you know Tim you know he loves the variety of customizing packages and working with you!

Over the next few weeks we'll showcase some of our favorite things to cater, and some of our signature items. This should be a fun ride, come along!
