It is with profound sadness to share the tragic passing of our dearest life-long friend and a true luminary master of sound and light, Jimmy Hotz.
Jimmy's human presence was palpable - his love, his compassion, his artistry, and his sheer passion just entered your heart and soul like a warm glow. But most of all, he never wavered in his relentless vision to empower humanity, through kindling in anyone and everyone - even in an instant - their innate potential for effortless creatorship in music and light. What a powerful gift that is.
And from the first moment you heard his music, or played one of his inventions, you knew immediately that a glimpse of heaven was indeed being revealed. And somehow the most impactful thing was, you were in the middle of it yourself. Compelling, expansive, uplifting, inspiring...there are no words to capture that first moment, and that series of moments, which he revealed to us. Soul-changing, life-changing... after being with Jimmy, you knew that you would never be quite the same again, and vastly for the better.
A great light has passed beyond this mortal earthly world. His vision shall, God willing, continue on in various forms through those of us lucky enough to have been close to him. Our life paths were all profoundly changed by him, and his vision shall continue to lead us forward, into an uncharted territory where humanity can glimpse it's own divine destiny, by discovering and activating its divinely endowed powers to express harmony and beauty, to share and celebrate with each other through the magic of music and light.
I am comforted to know, as each of us who are now holding Jimmy close in our hearts and minds, that we are connected, and we share a collective oneness that shall grow, and manifest, and flourish. His legacy shall endure, and his rightful place in human history may yet be revealed to all.
