Congratulations are in order for Caryssa and Darrin on their beautiful fall wedding day.

The scene was set with the downtown Milwaukee skyline as Darrin and Caryssa said their “I do’s” on the rooftop of at ! Caryssa and Darrin met as when they were in architectural school at UWM. Through the challenges of early adulthood, college, grad school and the beginnings of their working career they stayed dedicated and kept their relationship at the center of their lives. Darrin in his vows said “home is not a place, it’s a person.” and these two couldn’t be more of an example of how that is so true.

I am so honored to have told their story and welcome Darrin and Caryssa to the I do. family!

It's hard to believe that the 2024 wedding season is almost at a close. This season was INCREDIBLE and had so many amazing couples, travel to new states and new venues. I made a lot of new partners and learned a lot (as we always do).

This all to say that the 2025 season is coming up fast and dates are booking quickly! If I do. is on your list of dreamteam vendors - lets make sure we're talking about it!

Over the weekend I do. turned 12! It's unbelievable to think that just over 12 years ago I officiated my very first wedding ceremony but here we are.

12 years and hundreds of couples later I'm so grateful and humbled that I've had the opportunity to share so many love stories over the years and be a part of so many of your lives.

I can't wait to see what the next 12 years brings!

Another amazing day at with a star studded cast of vendors to cap off a double header weekend!

What an awesome day for Heather and Wes! Heather and Wes had such a beautiful ceremony and I’m so grateful the rain held off just long enough to tell their story which was all about a love that started in high school!

As an officiant I rarely see high school sweethearts but when I do you know you have found something truly special and this ceremony was perfect! I wish all the best to these two and their growing number of pets 😉 cheers to “more dogs!” Welcome to the I do. family!

Stephen and Jenna’s wedding today was nothing short of magical. With the backdrop of and the afternoon setting sun we told their story that actually begins all the way back in 2011. Stephen and Jenna’s story was a “coming of age tale” in that growing up in their relationship meant that they shared so many of life’s “firsts” together. This ended up creating an inseparable bond between them. It was so clear how Jenna and Stephen care for each other as well as Stephen Jr. (ring security). I couldn’t be happier for Jenna, Stephen and “Jr.” Welcome to the I do. family!

This past weekend’s ceremony felt like a homecoming. Being back at Rustic Manor 1848 brings so many memories rushing back and reminds me of how lucky I am to have found a calling for officiating ceremonies like Jake and Samantha’s!

Jake and Sam met online and even though they faced obstacles early on they had this feeling that what they had was life changing and so their love continued to grow and flourish. The overwhelming feeling of independence, hard work and shared vision between these two is undeniable and those themes reverberated through their story.

I was honored that Jake and Sam chose me to officiate their ceremony on what was a perfect late summer September afternoon. I can’t wait to see what they accomplish together as husband and wife!

I should also mention that I also had the honor to officiate Jacob’s brother’s (10 years) as well as his sister’s (6 years) ceremony. Thank you to the Shynder, Proebsting, Heald and now Oberlin families for all of your love and support over the years!

Congratulations again to Jacob and Samantha on a perfect day!

Today I am wishing all the best to the newlyweds Kaylee and Luke!

Yesterday’s ceremony took me all the way to De Motte, Indiana and the amazing The Pavilion at Sandy Pines event venue for a beautiful ceremony all about this super cute set of high school sweethearts!

Luke and Kaylee met in 2014 when they were in high school and even from early on they knew they were destined to be together. Even through the challenges of college, medical school and the trials of young adulthood Kaylee and Luke stayed focused on each other. Luke said “I’m one of the luckiest people on the planet. To have met my person so young.”

Soon Kaylee will be “matched” with a program where she’ll continue her journey to being Kaylee Zelenika M.D. and Luke and Kaylee will take on whatever comes next as husband and wife!

Congratulations Luke and Kaylee and welcome to the I do. family!

And just like that we’re almost halfway through the 2024 season and what a fun ride it’s been! 28 brides and grooms all with beautiful ceremonies, new vendor partnerships, new and exciting venues visited and the best part…we’re just getting started!

2025 dates are already booking folks! If you’re getting married in 2025 and need a ceremony that everyone will love, don’t sleep on booking an officiant. The time is now!
