To those who are new, welcome 👋🏽 To our OGs, thanks for staying 🫶🏽 We're Aya & Yara, two best friends with a thing for florals 👯‍♀️ We've been MIA for the past few months because of major life milestones we both hit but we're excited to finally be back and ready to take on all our new clients! ✨Welcoming Ramadan✨

This April, we will be observing our holy month of Ramadan. This month is all about spirituality and self-discipline. Your mind, body, and soul are tested for 30 days (sometimes 29 days 😂 but that’s another story for another day).

We fast from sunrise to sunset and try to visit our mosque 🕌 every night for prayers. There’s a sense of unity when it comes to this month. Families and friends are reunited around the dinner table bringing in food, laughter, and joy.

Let this month be your spiritual cleanse.

Fun fact: this is how we actually started doing florals. Friends would ask us to do their bouquets which turned into bridal parties which turned into entire weddings 🙃 Looking back, we're truly grateful to all our friends who trusted us and gave us a chance, fueling who we are today 💕

Some people know us as "the backdrop girls" and honestly yes. It’s our favorite thing to do when it comes to florals! If you’ve been to one of the events we’ve worked on, you’ve probably seen us putting our finishing touches and making sure every flower is where it’s supposed to be.

For this one specifically, it was incredibly eye-opening watching babys breath come to life all on its own.

Hi guys! This is Yara, co-owner of Tangled in Twine! For everyone that’s new here, I’m the person behind our social posts 📸! I work in Marketing full time 👩🏽‍💼and sometimes I just can’t hide the corporate in me 😂. Before entering corporate world, I used to be a Starbucks Barista ☕️…and that’s where my love for coffee began😍. It’s the first thing I think about in the morning and the last at night 😏. A pumpkin spice latte with fall foliage 🍂🍁 is my vibe and snowboarding during a winter storm ❄️🏂 is where I’m the happiest. Who wants to come with us next time 🙋🏽‍♀️?

If you're new here, I'm Aya, co-owner of Tangled In Twine 👯🏽 4 years ago, I started this journey through Aya's Arrangements (RIP 🪦 and thank you if you're still here!!) & together, with Yara, turned this into what it is today. I'm a full-time educator, I teach juniors & seniors English and AP Psychology and absolutely love what I do 👩🏽‍🏫 I'm a huge nerd when it comes to books 📖 but an even bigger addict when it comes to travel ✈️ Weekends consist of anything & everything outdoors, family-oriented, and/or food-related 🍔 We're always open to questions so feel free to DM us anytime!
