During the process of planning her own wedding and collecting an array of unique antique items from her grandfather’s house, nanna’s attic, and mother’s garage, owner, Lauran came up with the idea of starting a vintage event décor one stop shop! The west coast is a host to lots of unique vintage and antique event rental businesse

s; however, the east coast has yet to really jump on the train. Lauran wanted to offer something to Southeast brides, event planners, stylists, and photographers that they wouldn’t be able to get anywhere else and this is how Something Old, Something Borrowed was developed. Lauran and her own wedding stylist, Amy from Style by Design, spent many weekends playing scavenger hunts in family attics, garages, antique shops and thrift stores in their area. She knows first hand that planning an event can get expensive, so why not rent those pieces for your shindig?! Lauran has an extensive collection that is growing and she is more then happy to find a piece for you if she doesn’t have it in her inventory. It’s ideal to keep checking back as her inventory expands weekly and feel free to call and set up an appointment to view the pieces in the showroom located in the heart of Suffolk, VA.
