I don’t know about you, but 2025 started before I was ready for it. I’m trying to catch-up to it as we speak. January is already sprinting out of my reach. I was hoping for a relaxed start of the year, but alas, it is not to be.🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️😅🫣

The only pics I managed in the thick of it all. Of course I missed some items; Veg Curry, Kenyan Chapati & Creamy Pesto Pasta. We did share plates to achieve a family dinner kinda vibe. 40 tables of 10 (400 guests) was the order of the day. I’ve broken my old record of how many people I can cook for on my own 💪🏾 🤩, but I can admit that some pots were too heavy for my skinny arms to carry. 😁

Shout out to my team of 3 wonderful helpers: Chef Paula, Chef Mathew & Subash, who assisted me during service. You guys rock!🤩

I also got to meet my long lost bros (last pic from left); Yugu (MC) ultimate.entertainment01 , Ajo (DJ) dj_big_joe & my actual bro ceaserjd Ceaser Lawrence Kute (one of the grooms men), who’s my follower aka 2nd born, who I haven’t seen in person for over a year. I also got to meet a lot more long lost family & friends who I didn’t manage to capture. My cup is full y’all! ❤️

Guess what I did on my first Saturday off in a while????

I visited the AMAZING Australia!!!!!

We are well into Mango season now, so what did I do? I went over to taste a large variety of mangoes grown on their farm, then bought my 3 favourite flavours (Zill, Van D**e & Nam Doc Mai) 🥭 🥭🥭 Yum!!🤤🤤🤤🤤

I’m very glad that the dreaded Oct is now over. Oct kept me very much on my toes and I would have bought a 2nd set of arms, if this was a thing.🤣😂🤣

I’m looking forward to finally being able to breathe before the Xmas storm.😅

I have a little confession to make 🫣.
Because I’d been working really hard over July & August, I run out of steam. For this reason, I decided to take a much needed break to recover & recharge.💪🏾😎

Thanks Darwin for an awesome turnout at last night’s screening, at The Deckchair Cinema .🙏🏾

We made this one ‘extra special’ for the Darwin International Film Festival by adding dessert to the menu. I wanted to represent the motherland, so I picked a South African Malva Pudding as one of the options and a vegan + gluten free Coconut & Berry Trifle as the 2nd option. It’s been a while since I made Malva Pudding but they turned out perfect.👌🏾 🤩

The Malva Pudding was flavoured with apricot jam, bathed in a light toffee sauce, topped with a whipped vanilla custard cream and garnished with fresh strawberry 🍓 🤤 I NEED to make these again for sure!
