A table created at the beautiful home of
My inspiration for the table styling, was a walk through a secret garden, flower borders of Lavender and Rose, ancient brick walls festooned with a tangle of Jasmin ( one of my all time favourite scents!) and fig…
To further enhance the fragrance created by the blooms, I lit tealights in ‘Walled garden’
With the doors open onto the terrace the fragrance wafted throughout the house, instantly creating English country summertime, with the sun shining all day long!

Frauke’s Bridal bouquet finished with a hand made macrame wrap ( of the brides creation!) and scented with Lavander bought in Lyme Regis on a weekend trip before ( I love finding all the ingredients for a special bouquet!) it went perfectly with the mix of flowers fresh and dried grasses and daisy, and look at those fringes move in the last photograph! I also made a comb for Frauke to wear , using one of the palest lilac roses some beautiful fresh leaves and dried details .
I am delighted to say I will be stocking Frauke’s macrame designs , so do ask if you’d like one as an alternative to ribbon.🤍

Saturday is for ‘Scones’ a whole tower of cheese scones and Cornish cheese!
The perfect alternative to a sweet wedding cake , I styled simple beech branches and single daisies amongst the vintage jugs of meadow inspired flowers aiming for a ‘village fete’ feel!

The Woodland Atelier
Welcome to the beautiful world of The Woodland Atelier, run from my home on the stunning North Cornish coast.

I am a trained artist and self-taught floral designer, combining my love of colour, composition, flowers, foliage and styling to create decorations, installations and accessories for your weddings, events, elopements, home and photoshoots.

My style is relaxed & romantic, a little bit wild, a dash of the fairytale, balancing colour palettes, shapes, movement and scent.

Choosing seasonal ingredients and UK-grown flowers and foliage for your decorations is highly encouraged; sustainability and sensitivity to the planet, compostable and biodegradable materials are always my first choice.

When you book with me I want the whole process to be a delight, from the first consultation to the delivery of your designs and everything in between!
