Perjantaina 21.7. koittaa tämän kesän, sekä yksi koko dj-urani ehdottomista kohokohdista kun pääsen Tero Männikön kanssa lämmittämään Grotesk Helsingin lauteita hollantilaiselle Intergalactic Garylle - yhdelle eniten arvostamistani ja kiinnostavinta musaa soittavista deejiistä ajalta mitä noin 15 vuotta olen italodiskoa elänyt ja hengittänyt.⁣

Intergalactic Garyn miksauksia on kosolti kiittäminen omasta italoon hurahtamisestani ja monenmonta erikoisbiisiäkin on tullut herran seteistä omiin soitteluihin bongattua. ⁣

Kannattaa pistää I-G:n settejä kuunteluun ja tulla Groteskin kesäterassille nauttimaan harvinaisen laadukkaasta ja takuulla tanssittavasta musakattauksesta!⁣

🌞 Welcome to sunny and Italo heated terrace at Grotesk. During the summer, various carefully picked guests will present their shiniest Italo disco gems and introduce their unique interpretation of the genre. In July the host Tero Männikkö will be joined by Intergalactic Gary (NL) and Juan Calia (FI).⁣

⭐ Intergalactic Gary − a DJ for 35 years −Started mixing around 1980 after being influenced by the (Italo) disco scene in The Hague. He is known for his flawless and instinctive Djing. He has also released records as Parallax Corporation and The Conservatives, both projects in collaboration with I-F. The cult selector will play a special italo-oriented set at Grotesk!⁣

⭐ Juan Calia - With two decades of experience behind the wheels of steel, DJ Juan Calia digs up holy grails and bargain finds from his extensive collection of synth obscurities, modern electronic disco and heart-breaking italo classics – to make you dance with tears in your eyes.⁣

⭐ Tero Männikkö started as an italo disco collector, but his distinct sense of style and increasing love for the genre has lead him to Djing as well. He has been active over decade and performed widely. Tero has organised clubs in Helsinki such as Disco Obscura, Disco Volante and Italo Disco.He has chosen the line-up for the event.⁣
