4 februari 2023.. een bijzondere dag: na méér dan 15 jaar stond ik weer eens achter de draaitafels! Lange tijd hield het me tegen om opnieuw te beginnen—het hele usb-verhaal bijvoorbeeld. Ik had nog nooit met usb gedraaid maar alleen met vinyl en cd’s. En dan nog Rekordbox... Hoe werkt dat allemaal?! Die onzekerheid zorgde ervoor dat ik het steeds uitstelde.

Totdat Pat B (Patrick) me vroeg of ik weer eens wilde draaien in de legendarische club COMPLEXE CAP'TAIN. Een club waar ik vroeger al meerdere keren had mogen optreden, dus ik wist hoe gaaf het daar zou zijn. Ik zou back-to-back draaien met mijn maatje . Dat gaf me net dat extra zetje, want als ik iets niet snapte, had ik tenminste iemand om op terug te vallen.

Achteraf bleek al die twijfel en onzekerheid nergens voor nodig. Het was makkelijker dan gedacht, en ik ben zo blij dat ik de stap weer heb gezet! De afgelopen twee jaar heb ik alweer prachtige momenten beleefd, veel nieuwe mensen leren kennen en er komen dit jaar weer mooie dingen aan.

Dank aan iedereen voor het vertrouwen en de support, en een speciale dank aan Patrick, Bas en Complexe Cap'tain voor het duwtje in de rug! Ik hoop jullie allemaal binnenkort weer te zien! ❤️
