I’m so heartbroken.
Trixie Laumonte, I was just another little gay boy the first night I stepped into the beat and met you, and yet you made me feel right at home from the second you saw me sitting at the end of the bar in main room on a Monday night. Fast forward a year and I got offered the absolute privilege to work with you on those Monday and Tuesday nights.
You were such a brilliant performer, funny, incredibly offensive and you didn’t give a single s**t who was in the room. You were a true showgirl.
To me, You were …… I don’t even have the words to explain what you were to me. You made my life better. You made me feel accepted.
You changed so many people’s lives, and you went through so much so that we today can be who we are.
I am so grateful I knew you. You will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart forever.
You may be gone from this earth now but you will never be forgotten.
