I am extremely happy and at peace with my decision, but the one thing I fretted about was letting down my Flava community. However, all of your responses were the complete opposite of what I expected, and I am so grateful for each and every one of them! Your beautiful words have definitely made me feel like I accomplished my original mission and that is enough for me. Thank you again for your affirmations of my efforts, your praise of my accomplishments, your concern for my wellbeing, and…. letting me off the hook to pursue other things. LOL

I am super excited for the fresh start! Especially now that I am older, wiser, and more experienced than when I first started my entrepreneur journey. I promise not to disappoint on what comes next! ❤️❤️❤️

We would like to clarify that the previous announcement of our closure was in fact “effective immediately”. This means no further classes, events, or related services will be provided at the physical location of 8361 Stone Run Ct or through our website. Studio Flava, LLC has been dissolved, is permanently closed, is no longer active and cannot be contacted as such. Jeni J Flava will be pursuing other similar interests independently.

Studio Flava sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and impact on displaced students, instructors, and event hosts upon our abrupt closure. However, we ask that you understand the separation of a business entity from affiliated individuals and PLEASE respect the personal boundaries of Jeni J along with the entire Studio Flava team. We further ask that you refrain from contacting anyone personally regarding your business with Studio Flava, LLC.

🚨🚨🚨!!!Important Announcement!!!🚨🚨🚨

To remain successful in a constantly evolving world, businesses must continually change, adapt, and reinvent themselves. As you have witnessed, Flava has been doing just that for over 17 years now. When Covid sadly impacted our dance fitness industry and closed many of our sister studios, our event planning services became our primary business. While we thoroughly love our beautiful venue, this business does not require us to be tied down to a physical building with all of the additional responsibility and stress attached to it. So, when the opportunity presented itself for me to be personally relieved of it, I could not pass on it.

Therefore, effective immediately, Studio Flava has closed its doors. I am excited to take my business in a different direction which allows me to expand my services outside of four walls and pursue other projects that I have put aside for many years. I am also excited to prioritize my health and personal happiness over the day-to-day responsibilities of a physical building for the first time in two decades. This is not a failure or an unfortunate situation. Flava has been a trendsetter and broken many records to include our 17-year anniversary. After 5 expansions and 3 buildings, I am extremely proud of the years of service Flava has provided the dance and dance fitness industries, the businesses that started or grew under our roof(s), and the philanthropy to community relief and awareness. I am extremely grateful for the “Flava Fam” members that have become my family, the amazing talent of instructors and performers who have shared our dance floors, and the millions of memories.

This is not a GOOD BYE… it’s a STAND BY for what’s to come next!
