We could not be more excited to announce that we will be producing a Children's Theater production this Summer to be directed by Mr. Cory Casburn!

Mr. Casburn began his theatrical career right here in Wabash County in 1998, performing in the District 348 Best of Broadway production of Annie. Since then he has performed in more than 50 musical and theatrical productions across the State of Illinois, with a host of directing, producing, and other musical and theatrical credits to his Community and Children's Theater resume.

Announcements will come over the following weeks with information including the title of our production, rehearsal and performance locations, our general audition, rehearsal, and performance schedule, as well as a list of our staff for this production.

We are the LEAG of Artists

Located at 427 N. Market St. Uptown Mt. Carmel Illinois, the Little Egypt Arts Guild is a not-for-profit organization with the intended goal of creating, promoting, and presenting local Art. Our Guild(Arts Council) is open to all, and we want to program around the wants and needs of the Artists and Residents of our Southern Illinois home. Several readings of new plays and dramatic works have already been staged, and we hope to provide the area with at least four live theatrical productions in our first year: An American Comedy, an American Drama, a Musical, and a work of William Shakespeare. As we are currently in the licensing stage, announcements of show titles and dates will be made at a later date. If you would like to be involved, either as an artist, volunteer, or patron, we encourage you to keep an eye on this page for updates about upcoming projects. Dates will also soon be announced for our 1st Annual Little Egypt Arts Fest(LEAF) event, and we couldn’t be more excited about our future possibilities. If you have any questions, reach out to us through Messenger on this page. It’s time to make some Art! Cory J. Casburn President/Director Little Egypt Arts Guild
