My last Xmas party at Widemouth Manor on Saturday was a great night and another howling wind on the cliff top, trying to blow me away while carried my gear in didn’t spoil the evening 💨 Thanks so much to everyone that danced the night away. As always a massive thanks to all the Manor staff that always make me feel part of the team and always keep me fed every week with their fabulous Christmas turkey dinners, they were absolutely delicious. 😋 💃🕺🎶🎧🎤🎄🎅🏻

My second Christmas party of the season at Widemouth Manor is cancelled tonight ☹️ due to the high winds of storm Darragh 💨Fingers crossed everything will be ok for the rearranged parties next weekend 🤞🎄🎅🏻

Due to consistent strong winds. We will be closed this evening Saturday 7th December.

Our kitchen is out of action, the lights keep flickering, the phone lines and internet keeps going down. It’s is not safe to visit us today.

As the wind has not eased as we had hoped are we are contacting all bookings affected to rearrange your Christmas party evenings.

So please stay home and stay safe.

As promised some pics from last night’s G4 Winter Ball. Well, for the 3rd year running the members of Bideford’s top gym did not disappoint!! They were on top form on the dance floor all night and strutted their stuff to everything from Chase & Status to The Killers to Eminem to Bon Jovi to Billy Ocean and every single genre in between and again I couldn’t help but dance behind the decks 😂!! Final preparations for our Out of Essex Promotions Back to the 80’s night at The Old Foundry Venue tomorrow. Excuse the lack of 80’s attire but Dave and I just had to try out the Photo Booth 📸 😂. There will be a few 80’s props etc on the night for you to use in your own photos but feel free to bring your own and don’t forget to wear your 80’s threads.!!! Looking forward to a night filled with 80’s music, nostalgia and most of all dancing. Don’t forget there’s food available on the night (at an additional cost) 🎧🎤🎵🕺💃🪩

I had a great evening on Friday. I left the disco decks behind and spent the evening calling bingo on behalf of Tony Bailey who is raising money by running The London Landmarks Half Marathon in aid of The Penguin sports foundation (that’s him below shaking hands with me on the night). It was a great night of prize bingo and a cash flyer. There was also a fantastic raffle that went on nearly as long as the bingo as there were so many great prizes from so many generous local businesses!! The evening raised over £650 which is amazing!! 👏👏 I also read tonight that Tony has now raised over £750 so his lovely long locks that he is so proud of are to be shaved off soon 🤣. Well done Vikki and the rest of the family for organising a well run brilliant night👏👏 You can still make a donation to this great cause. It was a pleasure to host a quiz night at the Blues Bideford Amateur Athletic Club on Saturday, for a lively crowd with plenty of heckling and banter and loads of ‘Can’t we have a point for that Andy!’ 😂😂 We had 7 teams in the end and filled every seat in the bar! The event was won by ‘I love Tottenham’ (they wanted me to say that every time I read out the scores but it just didn’t happen 😂, very unusual for a team with that name in the title to win anything BTW 😂) 2nd was Barred (The Bar team) and 3rd ‘Up The Arsenal’ The wooden spoon was won by Team: Represents. Thanks to everyone that made it an enjoyable night to host 🎤

As promised here’s some pics of a brilliant evening at Tapeley Park last night celebrating Alan and Annette renewing their Wedding Vows. It was great to share the provision of entertainment with the fantastic ABBA Chique tribute band. As you can see below the dance floor was packed for both my set and ABBA Chique’s. I even danced myself 😂 it definitely was one of those great nights what an atmosphere!! Thanks as always to everyone that danced (and sang) the night away!! 🎶🎤🕺💃🪩🎧

All set up for Alan and Annette’s celebration party after renewing their wedding Vows today. The fantastic Tapeley Manor House Nr Instow is the venue and I’m working alongside an ABBA tribute band tonight 😀 so it’s looking to be a great night 😀 more pics to follow…. 🎶🎤🎧💃🕺🪩

Just a quick post to let you all know our 2nd Out of Essex Promotions event: Back To The 80’s with a Splash of 90’s is now sold out. We look forward to seeing everyone that purchased a ticket, at The Old Foundry Venue 18th October. We can’t wait to spin those great tunes that will take you back 40 years (yes 1980 was over 40 years ago!!) 😀🎶 . Don’t forget your 80’s threads (they are not essential but encouraged)

What a fantastic evening at Alverdiscott Parish Hall last night for Nigel’s 60th birthday party 🥳🎉🎂It was party music all the way through to the end of the evening skipping through virtually every decade. Nigel’s friends and family created such a great atmosphere that I think I wore the stage out behind the decks from dancing myself 🕺🤣As always thanks for dancing everyone!! 🕺💃🪩🎧🎧🎶 PS There’s a video to follow of the conga it was so good I had to film it 😀

Finally found the time to put up some pics from my last event for Dave and Linda’s 50th Wedding Anniversary party at Langtree Parish Hall on 31st August. I had a great night DJing for a lovely crowd of Dave and Linda’s family and friends (some travelled all the way from Essex!!). After they finished a delicious sit down meal (that I was lucky enough to eat a plate of!! 😋) the dance floor was virtually full for the rest of the night.
