Just a quick post to let you all know our 2nd Out of Essex Promotions event: Back To The 80’s with a Splash of 90’s is now sold out. What a fantastic evening at Alverdiscott Parish Hall last night for Nigel’s 60th birthday party 🥳🎉🎂It was party music all the way through to the end of the evening skipping through virtually every decade. Nigel’s friends and family created such a great atmosphere that I think I wore the stage out behind the decks from dancing myself 🕺🤣As always thanks for dancing everyone!! 🕺💃🪩🎧🎧🎶 PS There’s a video to follow of the conga it was so good I had to film it 😀

Finally found the time to put up some pics from my last event for Dave and Linda’s 50th Wedding Anniversary party at Langtree Parish Hall on 31st August. I had a great night DJing for a lovely crowd of Dave and Linda’s family and friends (some travelled all the way from Essex!!). After they finished a delicious sit down meal (that I was lucky enough to eat a plate of!! 😋) the dance floor was virtually full for the rest of the night. We are SO excited to be hosting a night filled with the very best 80's groove, non-stop dancing, and nostalgic vibes. We're turning back the clock to bring you the best of the 80s—with just a touch of the 90s for good measure.

It was a great night for Sophie and Jake’s wedding evening party at The Old Barn near Clovelly last night. From the first dance by Teddy Swims to the final song of the evening by Herme’s House Band (Country Roads) there was always people on the dance floor singing and dancing their socks off. Spent an amazing day visiting Penrhyn Castle in North Wales. During my visit I learnt how they used to DJ at weddings back in the old days. I’ve got Technics 1210’s decks but this must have been an early Technics 0010, quite classy with the built in amp attached 📢 and no laptop needed at all 😂 🎵

As promised, here’s a few more pics from Friday evening when I DJ’ed at Hayley and Matt’s wedding party at The Guillemot Westward Ho! As you can see from the pics the party really got going with music for everyone!! We went from the first dance by Shania Twain to ‘Oops Upside Your Head’ choreographed by the Bride, and we finished with Oasis ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ as requested by the Groom, and this was only a flavour of the tracks played! It was a brilliant wedding party in a brilliant venue. Thanks as always to everyone who danced.

Here’s a few pics from our first ‘Out Of Essex promotions’ 80’s film fancy dress night at FuBar, Ryde Isle Of Wight. It was great to DJ for such brilliant crowd there were loads in fancy dress including E.T. The Terminator, Jessica Rabbit, Freddie Mercury and myself Andrew Pearson Entertainment and David bird BAYentertainments as the Blues Brothers to name but a few!! The lively 80’s loving, crowd literally danced all night long while singing along to all the bangers from that era. Thanks so much to everyone that attended and to the crew from Fubar that made our first event run as smooth as possible and a special thanks to Carol and Chrissie for your help with ticket scanning on the door. I had a great time DJing for Chris and Jo’s 25th Wedding Anniversary party on Saturday evening at Barnstaple Rugby Club. Whenever I do a party for the Chapple family they never fail to get the dance floor buzzing 😃. As usual I went right through every genre but the highlight of the night has to be Chris’s rendition of a Queen classic 🎤 (See pics below) Thanks as always to everyone that danced 💃🕺🪩🎶🎧🎵

It was a pleasure to DJ for Luke and his family and friends for his 18th Birthday at Lovacott Village Hall on Saturday. There was a lovely family atmosphere with fantastic food, drink, dancing and singing (yes I got fed again 😂 and yes there was cake 😋 Thanks Julie!!😃). Luke and his guests danced for the entire evening to everything from Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber to The Smiths and the Macarena. Thanks so much to everyone that danced and sang 💃🕺🪩🎶🎤🎧🎵

After a Saturday night wedding disco and getting to bed at 1am it was back to work Sunday morning at 8am to do the commentary and prize presentation for the Bideford 10K, as usual it was a fantastic event with over 900 runners starting on the Quay, running to Instow and then back to Bideford. Well done to everyone that took part and well done to the Race Director Alan Heard and everyone from Bideford Amateur Athletic Club for the smooth running 🏃 of a brilliant local event👏😃🎤

Its been along time coming but myself and Andrew Pearson Entertainment have finally got together to present our Music shows on the Isle of Wight and North Devon ( we may even go back home to Essex ) where our diaries allow....

Our first event as 'Out of Essex Promotions' is an 80's film themed party night at Bar 74 ( Soon to be Fubar ) on 13th July.

What a fantastic crowd at Beaconside House nr Bideford last night to celebrate the Wedding of Ellen and Ollie. There wasn’t a moment when there wasn’t someone on the dance floor.
