Ok ladies. I’m going to call this one my baby, as I worked on this one for close to 9-10months along with all the other dresses I had. She was an off the rack purchase and way too big and 8” too long. 🤯. Once I got the actual “base” dress fitted and shortened which was a job to begin with!! The outside layer was the softest sheer tulle that I’ve worked on, plus it was edged with 4” horsehair braid. Let’s just say it was not fun 🤪. I had to make an upper bodice to add to the original dress, I totally revamped the bodice, neckline and added full fitted custom lace appliqués sleeves. We had to do some hunting for the appliqués to match along with another dress that I robbed the appliqués from and dubbed it my “Swiss cheese dress”. 😂It was a long, long process and many appts! I thank goodness my bride, Stephanie, she was patient!!! I can only share 10 photos so I’ve included the sneak peaks I received from Stephanie and a few of the before pics that she shared. This dress was a true masterpiece in my book, and I think it turned out amazing and she looked absolutely beautiful!! 😍 Thank you so much Stephanie for sharing your sneak peaks and the before pictures.
