Before you toss out canned or boxed goods, remember: the "best by" date is just about peak flavor, not safety! According to the USDA, non-acidic foods can last up to 3 years past the "best by" date, while acidic foods (like tomato sauce) are good for up to 2 years.

If you have items you’re not using, please consider donating them to Project Food We also need housewares, toiletries, and other essentials. Your donations make a big difference for those in need. 💙

A huge thank you to Doug, Penny and Juan from National Community Church who helped with our recent Project Food sponsored event. Another one of our distribution events in Baltimore had over 1,400 attend. We need your help to keep the momentum going and make an even bigger impact.

We’re looking for volunteers to assist with item distribution and provide resource sheets for ongoing support. Your time and dedication can make a difference!

Got extra pantry items or household goods? Now’s the perfect time to declutter for a good cause! We need donations of canned and boxed foods, housewares, toiletries, clothes, and bags (plastic, paper, or reusable). Plus, all donations are tax-deductible!

Project Food is sponsoring this huge block party/food distribution event, and we could really use your help.

Join us for lunch and snacks, lots of fun activities, and tons of resources. We’ll be distributing canned/boxed goods, bread, toiletries, housewares, and clothes. The last event drew in 1,400 attendees, so it’s going to be a great turnout! We need 10 volunteers, so bring your family and friends—even the little ones will have fun helping out!

Items are also needed, so here's a chance to clean out your pantry. We need canned/boxed goods, housewares, toiletries, clothes, bags (plastic, paper, or recycle). We will give you a tax-deductible receipt for your donation. Funds are needed (from businesses and individuals) for our face-painting and temporary tattoo kits, sno-cone supplies and resources.
