Sunflower field update - With this hot weather, not as many flowers have bloomed as I was hoping for the weekend! Here is a photo taken this morning.. you can see they are just waiting to pop, but Mother Nature still keeps playing with me! Please use this photo as guidance as to when you want to come and visit the field! I'll post daily updates for everyone to follow along!
It's official!! We are opening the sunflower field to the public!! Here's what you need to know: As of August 16th, the Sunflower Field at Country Charm Flowers will be open to the public! We’ll open every day at 9 and stay open until 5 pm (possibly later, but it depends if we have private photographer sessions - please watch for updates on this page!). We expect to stay open until the 31st, but it all depends on mother nature.
You may purchase tickets at the farm gate with cash or email transfer (to [email protected]). It is an honor system, so please be nice to us hard-working farmers!
Adult Admission : $5
Child (3-16 yrs) Admission : $2.50
Infant (0-2 years) : Free
Family Price**: $20 (** Family ticket is good for 2 adults and their children. It does not include the extended family)
It’s always a good idea to check out Country Charm Flowers page (www.facebook.com/CountryCharmFlower) to make sure you get the most up to date information before coming to the farm. You might even want to check out our Farm Etiquette Rules, too! Please, all pets must be on a leash for farm biosecurity rules. We do have two friendly dogs on the property, as well as cattle in the adjacent field. You may even be lucky enough to spot the mysterious sunflower kitty! There will also be fresh flowers available to purchase at the farm gate, so grab a bunch to remember your tour and to brighten up your table!
And while you’ll certainly want to dress to impress to get the most stunning photos please keep in mind that you are in a farm field and if it's rained recently, you may want to try to work those rain boots into your outfit choice!
The field is located just north of Earlton on Armstrong Evantural Boundary Road - you can Google Map Country Charm Flowers as GPS never leads you here!

What a wedding weekend it was! We hosted our first wedding on the farm in the sunflower field! And I got to create 3 other beautiful wedding bouquets! I love wedding season!!

This weekends wedding pallette! I love walking out to the garden hand harvesting flowers that can be incorporated into the bridal bouquet! It makes every bouquet unique and special!!

Too much fun with this couple at Sutton Bay Park! They did things a little differently and started with first looks, wedding party and family photos, dinner with people close to them followed by an evening ceremony and reception at the pavilion. Loved this idea! And the park was such a perfect spot for it. Thank you for asking me to be a part of your special day Cloe & Brian!

The lilacs are ready!! Small bouquets are $25 (roughly 6-10 stems) and large bouquets are $50 (roughly 20 stems). Fill your entire house with thier fragrance!!
A pre-mothers day workshop was held in King Kirland and these ladies brought their A game! So much creativity! Each arrange was unique and beautiful! What to try your hand at a workshop? I would love to teach you!!
I hired some local boys (aka my husband and oldest boy) to do the dirty work for me! They made sure that the seeds fell into the proper place in the seeder. It was a dusty job but they were the right men for the job! Can't wait to see what the sunflower field looks like this year!

Mothers Day was crazy busy around here!! He's a few beautiful arrangements that went out last weekend!

Things are slowly progressing here on the farm.. the beds have been worked up and we have started planting out our seedlings! This year I hired to do all my tilling! He did a wonderful job!! Need your garden worked up? Send me a message and I'll send his contact info!
