During the early 1990s when i was a new born raver, i had the pleasure of owning the Famous computer, The Commodore Amiga 500. Not only was this the best for gaming, but it was also a highly expandable piece of equipment which enabled it to be a platform for early daws known as trackers.
When collecting Amiga games and demos, I came across 2 rave demo disks which were produced by a group known as Spaceballs. State Of The Art and 9 Fingers were mind blowing for mid 90s as they used state of the art graphics and sound which was not possible on many home computers.
9 fingers was my favourite of these due to the music sounding like deep underground rave music and fast in tempo.
This is a video of a daw called Pro Tracker on the Amiga which was used to make the music. Very basic and very effective.
