🔥 CONCERT OF THE YEAR #8/15 🔥

For quite some time, Deitus has been one of my favourite UK live bands. I had a chance to see them in action a few times now and they were the band I was mostly looking forward to at Winter Fest VI. As always, their show was an immaculate display of authenticity, talent and great black metal with a punch in your face. I did not, however, expect to hear the title track from ‘’Via Dolorosa’’ which was my personal highlight of the whole evening. It is such a perfect and atmospheric song and witnessing it live in Brighton was an honour! Make sure you go and see Deitus live when you have a chance!

The Infernal Sea returned with a fist full of Satan for the sold out masses! A stellar performance to cap off what was a fantastic day, we thank you all once again for making this event truly special, until next time!

We've been fans of Deitus for some time, so it was special to finally get them on one of our shows! It was absolutely worth the wait, raw and relentless energy from start to finish!

The name Andracca has been cropping up a lot for us, so it was about time we got them down to Brighton and after their set on Saturday we now know why! A perfect masterclass in all that is great about this genre! We look forward to having them back one day!

Vestia opened proceedings on Saturday, this marked exactly one year since the bands debut performance! A very busy room for a band on stage just after 3pm showed exactly how far these young guys have come in just one year, we look forward to watching them excel!

Now that the dust has finally settled, we can begin to extend our thanks to all those who made this edition of Winter Assault the most memorable one to date! This event has sold out 3 years on the bounce, so we thank you all greatly for the support you show us! To all the bands, we praise you for the stellar performances! A massive shout-out to Dinko for putting up this amazing little festival in Brighton last Saturday! We had an amazing time filled with great bands, lots of great chats and good beers! I can't believe I never paid Winter Assault a visit in the past but I shall definitely return.

There was not a single bad performance that night and, despite the festival being sold-out, it felt really comfortable there! A cool and quirky venue with great staff, by the way. Make sure you consider this festival or its summer version next year!

Well done bands, well done everyone! That's the sort of spirit you want from your last festival of the year 🔥
