🌺 As a florist, I often hear the same sediment around this time of the year: “ I hate Valentine’s Day! 😝 I don’t want to be forced to show someone I care.” I totally get it. Valentine’s Day can feel a bit commercialized, and the pressure to buy gifts or plan grand gestures can be overwhelming. But here’s the thing: why not flip the script? Why not take this opportunity to express your love and appreciation for the people in your life?
Life is short, and the time we have with our loved ones is precious. Whether it’s a romantic partner, a friend, or a family member, showing that you care shouldn’t be confined to just one day on the calendar. It might be a made up holiday but at its core, it’s about connection and appreciation. So if you feel inclined, stop by Smileys and get some flowers or do something nice for someone you care about, not because you’re obligated, but because you genuine want to. At the end of the day, it’s about celebrating the bond we share and that’s something worth embracing! Let’s spread some love regardless of the date! ❤️😊🥰
