How to Decorate for New Year´s Eve? Here are my 5 tips 📝

1. Choose a theme for the backdrop/dinner. Think casual, glitzy or formal – even the completely natural can work thanks to the bright colours of flowers;
2. Choose one primary colour and two complementary tones are enough. Limiting your colour palette will lead to a cohesive party interior filled with stunning decorating ideas;
3. Go big but with less. Too much decor can feel cluttered and overywhelming;
4. Soft natural flowers – fragrant flowers can cause irritation or even na allergic reaction. So keep to blooms that have a subtle or neutral scent.
5. Add visual depth with height

Portugal was today stage to the Royal Wedding of D. Maria Francisca de Bragança. Whilst we do not have a majestic Palace such as Buckingham or Versailles we have the Basilica of Mafra which is a National Monument and equally fitting for such a grandeuse affair.
