We will be at the Tain market on Saturday from 10am - 2pm.

Please pop down to get yourself some blooms and visit all the stalls💐

💐 The Blooms Flower Trailer💐

The flower trailer will be open tomorrow 11am - 5pm💐

I will be offering a small selection of £15 mixed bunches and £7 jars! We will have a cash box on the trailer and a QR code to pay as well!

Directions

Burnside Croft - From the A9 turn into the junction at Ken’s garage Kildary and continue driving past the garage.
Turn right up the small double track road sign posted to Scotsburn.
Continue up the road for a few minutes until you come to a small unmarked cross roads.
Turn right along the single track road following the road sign to Logie Hill.
Our Croft is the first on the left and you will see a small lay-by at our road end for you to park in and the flower trailer in front of you.

Hello! Just wanted do let everyone know about my availability for orders in the next couple of weeks.

As you all know the weather recently has been very poor so my flowers this year are a bit behind where they should be! Hopefully some sunshine is on the way and I will have lots of blooms as usual💐

This week I have limited availability for £15 bunches and jars. Gift bouquets are not available at the moment.

Next week I am accepting limited orders for the 24th and 25th for £15 bunches and jars. My diary is closed from Wednesday next week as my daughter is getting married and as you can imagine I have lots of flowers to arrange as well as being Mother of the Bride💍

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with the lovely Staff and Children of Newmore Primary School. They are celebrating world of work week and have been inviting many local businesses including myself to speak to the Children. I was very nervous but they were so welcoming and enthusiastic that I needn’t have worried. I discussed the highs and lows of flower farming including sowing seeds,potting on,planting and harvesting. We also discussed sustainable floristry whilst I made a meadow arrangement using some foraged foliage too. The lupins were very popular and have now been renamed as fairy trees 🥰 They are planing doing some little jar arrangements of their own now. Thank you to all at Newmore Primary for their invite,you have such a lovely School.

This week is British flower week and it’s all about celebrating British grown flowers.
As a grower it’s a lovely way of celebrating all my home grown flowers. A huge amount of work goes into growing my flowers and if I’m honest a lot of worry and getting things wrong. It’s a constant battle with Mother nature and she’s not always kind.
I’m so grateful to everyone who supports my business and every single order counts.

A 4ft wild meadow coffin spray made for a very special Lady. This spray included homegrown foxglove, red campion, phacelia and cow parsley with additional feverfew, alliums, limonium and larkspur 🤍

We had a lovely workshop last night at . Lots of beautiful spring wreaths were created. We used British foliage,flowers and hydroponically grown bulbs.

I have had several enquiries this past few weeks from people looking to order flowers. So until I have my own flowers I am going to trial ordering in flowers. These will be mostly British grown flowers and will be similar to the flowers that I will be growing myself this year.
I would really appreciate at least a weeks notice. Please message me for more information.

I was honoured to be asked to create a coffin spray for a very special lady💙 I delivered a bunch of my flowers to her in the summer and she told me how much she loved wildflowers. I managed to use some of my flowers from the field as well as some foliage and flowers from her garden to create the spray💙

What a difference a year makes! This video is from exactly a year ago today when Blooms from Burnside was still just a dream and I had no idea if it would really work🌸 A year later I had a field bursting full of flowers and have lovely customers supporting my business! This weekend is the flower farmers big weekend. As members of Flowers From the Farm we are putting up this video to show you all the lovely flowers in our field and how much progress we have made in our first year🌸 We are very proud members of Flowers from The Farm which promotes and supports growers of locally grown British cut flowers. These gorgeous tulip wraps are available this weekend🌷 Freshly picked straight from the field and carefully wrapped in recyclable paper🌷 Perfect little gift for yourself or a loved one! Limited availability. Tulip wrap is £7 and local delivery is available🌺

⭐️Pre order available now⭐️ I am opening my order book for Christmas wreaths. The wreathes will be mounted on moss and wire frames and all the greenery used will be grown and sourced from the Croft. I will be offering 2 sizes of wreathes which will be made using a 8” ring £25 or 10” ring £30. The video attached is of the 10” ring. I will also have holly wreaths available for graves for £15. These will be made with the 8” ring. Designs will vary and stock will be limited so please place your order early to avoid disappointment. Payment will be on collection. I plan to have a collection day on Saturday 4th December from Lauren Heggie Hair salon on Market Street Tain. Times will be posted nearer the time.
