Took a walk / climb this morning while Cindy was in her continuing professional education classes. Climbed Hayden Butte....

Took a walk / climb this morning while Cindy was in her continuing professional education classes. Climbed Hayden Butte. Steep climb and I got passed three times by the young lady in pink shorts! But, not bad for a 66 year old a year and seven months post knee replacement surgery.

Cindy and I had a restful day on the St. Lawrence Seaway. Left from Clayton pier for Rock Island Lighthouse and Boldt Castle. Then just enjoyed watching the shore on the way back to Clayton.

Cindy and I had a wonderful time at the African Lion Safari. So many close-up encounters with free ranging animals!

We started our day at the butterfly conservatory. It was hot! Our tour through the colocated botanical gardens was short as outside was hot and humid as well. We did stop to see the Niagara Power Plant before searching for wineries to cool down.
