Keisha Grant is proud to invite to the African Contemporary Dance spectacle Tabula Rasa , 1-9 August Tabula Rasa is remarkably intriguing.

Keneish Dance, West Midlands born talent in Birmingham led by the choreographer Keisha Grant Presents ‘TABULA RASA’, a dance spectacle that takes you through a universe of thoughts, feelings and physical sensation. The show brings to life the concept of TABULA RASA, “known as a state of the human mind as a blank slate at birth”, in an extraordinary and eloquent African Contemporary Dance including

the sensual, vibrant African rhythm of the Angolan partner dance Kizomba. With choreography inspired by the journey of how people connect with each other and the universe, to gain knowledge, power and independence, and a music score that allows you to connect the spiritual to the physical . In a fascinating display of expression, Keneish Dance put forward the notion of an enchanted glass as a reflection of the society, in terms of gender and race.
