Debbie Nussbaum Events is a boutique event planning company catering to the unique needs of English speakers looking to celebrate their special event in Israel. I specialise in planning private events, such as weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and other milestones, because I am passionate about working with people and helping them to make their personal moments as special as they can be. I know that

Anglo clients are often daunted by the prospect of planning an event in Israel and I am fully committed to helping them to overcome this obstacle, by effortlessly guiding them through the planning process. I understand that no two clients or events are the same and I take the time to listen to my clients to make sure that I fully understand their vision for their event. I also appreciate that some clients want more help than others, and I have therefore developed three solutions that allow my clients to decide the extent of my involvement, based on their individual needs and budget. The Event Management Service is for clients who want me to coordinate their whole event from start to finish, the Event Consultation Service gives clients the opportunity to get unlimited advice at a consultation and the Event Day Management Service allows clients to hand over their event to an experienced professional, so that they can relax and enjoy their big day.

Julie surprised Gabriel with an incredible entrance to the chuppah on a river boat and the evening was filled with speeches and interactive music performances by the groom and his very talented musician friends.

The challenges faced by couples getting married during a war are very real. Will they release the groom from the army for the wedding? Will the family come from abroad? Will guests be in the mood to celebrate? What is appropriate in these difficult times? How do we acknowledge the hostages and those who we have lost? Wedding planning has taken on a whole new meaning since October 7th. Ariella & Alon taught me that love conquers all.

Introducing "Grills of Hope."

It is 30 days from the awful Shabbat that changed our lives in Israel. 30 days of tears, fear and despair. Also 30 days of action, unity and kindness.

With events almost disappearing overnight, I put my energy into this special project together with Rafi Sandler and Samuel's Catering and countless incredible volunteers and donors.

In 30 days we have organized 60 on site BBQs and deliveries to 7500 soldiers in army bases and out in the field all over Israel. We will feed another 1500 soldiers just this week. Our mission is to boost the morale of our beloved soldiers by sending them hot delicious meals and teams of uplifting volunteers to dance, sing, share words of wisdom and laugh with them. We plan to continue this project for as long as there is a need. If you would like to get involved, please DM me and I will send you the relevant information.

To all my clients past and present, thank you for your wonderful messages of comfort and support. My family is safe and well and coping at this challenging time with lots of Netflix, computer games, comfort food and love!

I am continuing to work, supporting my clients and making adjustments to their events as necessary. We are remaining positive, continuing to plan spring and summer events in the hope that by then we will have peace in Israel. For future clients, please still consider Israel for your upcoming smachot. Our economy needs your support and there is nowhere more beautiful and meaningful to celebrate.

This group came from Texas, USA to experience some of the highlights of our amazing country and to celebrate Levi's Bar Mitzvah with a ceremony and party in Jerusalem.

This trip was a collaboration with Shin Luxury Tours who expertly planned the group's packed itinerary taking them to the Dead Sea, Masada, Old City, Knesset, Museums, Bedouin tents, Camel riding, Shuk tours and lots more!

What could be more meaningful than a Bar Mitzvah boy reading from a Sefer Torah that his family had comissioned in honor of his Holocaust survivor great grandparents?

They travelled to Israel from the USA to complete the Sefer Torah with their extended family and friends, marking the occasion with a dinner and then dancing with the Torah. The following morning, they took the Sefer Torah to the Old City and the Bar Mitzvah boy read from it at a private ceremony followed by brunch.
