We have closed early today!

UPDATE: (7:18 p.m.) At this point our systems show all customers have power restored. Linemen are addressing a few single meter calls.

UPDATE: (6:55 p.m.) Customers near Carol Avenue should now have power restored.

UPDATE: (6:37 p.m.) A tree limb on a power line near Fanning and Elva is determined to be the cause of the outage for the 900 customers off the Hatch substation. Power should now be restored as crews have removed the tree branch.

UPDATE: (5:58 p.m.) We currently have around 900 customers without power off our Hatch substation near Bonneville Drive. We have crews troubleshooting the cause of this outage. We do not yet have an estimated ETA on restoration.

UPDATE: (5:45 p.m.) Power has been restored around 17th and Juniper Drive. We appreciate everyone’s patience while we have been working to restore outages caused by the wind.

UPDATE: (4:58 p.m.) Idaho Falls Power continues to work towards restoring power to customers impacted by the outage attributed to a tree blowing over onto some power lines. IFP is also aware of a few other outages attributed to the windstorm and is working to restore power to everyone as quickly and safely as possible.

We will provide more updates as we have more information.
