Hazel - the beautiful assistant !
My is Hazel - birthday girl and my ‘go to’ person when I need a job doing fast ! Hope that she can learn a bit too and find time to arrange flowers among all that farming stuff she is lured into by James ! Thank you Hazel for all you do for me - love you loads 😘

Sometimes small is beautiful !
I love these pale pink roses with the sage colour of the eucalyptus, little pop of pink in the wax flower and gypsophila to lift the colours 🌸

Retiring from years with Marie Curie Lynne Millar is now swinging chainsaws for her day job !
She brought so much empathy and compassion to her role with Marie Curie and I for one will miss her as a community nursing colleague - she totally deserves my Friday flowers xx

And number two and three ‘thank you’ flowers delivered ! - as I was wandering through the village with hands full of flowers when I met a couple who have holiday’d on Luing for over 20 years and they wanted to know if I could do a bunch for them ! Love a wee random customer ! Delighted with their bunch !

Saying goodbye to a loved one is so hard - you just want everything that’s been planned to be perfect. Today I used oasis rings to give the base for the wreaths sticking to the colours of a certain football team ⚽️ the blue table as background for the photo was total oversight !

This one is an arrangement in oasis - florists foam that holds moisture next to the flower stems.

Last day of term - People in education were celebrated this week ! Lots of lovely flowers going to special people who teach or support our children. Saying thank you with flowers is such a beautiful thing and I have had such lovely feed back this week. Stay safe everyone over the summer holidays !

Flower Friday goes to my neighbour Mary - she is amazing, not only does she bake the tastiest sourdough bread and bake for the Atlantic Island Centre as part of the volunteer bakers group. She is secretary to the Luing Community Council and cornerstone of the Luing History Group committee. She is a wonderful neighbour and friend - my ‘fairy at the bottom of my garden’
