For those who have attended Vinney's Raffle these past few weeks, you may have spotted my daughters Laila and Ashlee walking around with some lucky squares for Backpacks 4 SA Kids INC.

Thank you so much to the patrons in attendance who supported this fundraising effort by purchasing tickets throughout the night (and one in particular who donated $50 cash) and thank you to Vinney's Raffle for the opportunity to do so.

HODGE MARINE have been a big contributor of our BP4SAK fundraising efforts these past few years and we really appreciate your continued support.

Thank you once again to Vinney's Raffle for another $500 donation towards Backpacks 4 SA Kids INC.

Vinney's Raffle is held in the front bar of the Hub Tavern (Aberfoyle Park) every Wednesday night. There are usually 20 or so prizes available each week including Meat Trays, Wine, Beer, Pub Vouchers, Fruit and Veg Vouchers and More!

$1 per ticket and all proceeds after costs are donated to various charity and community causes.

The Braes Village has been very generous with their efforts these past few years, via both fundraising and generous ongoing donations of comfort and essential items towards the backpacks program.

Backpacks 4 SA Kids has gone from strength to strength in 2024 thanks to our beautiful community making sure as many kids as possible know that they are worth it!

We have supplied:

Volunteers have donated 10,006.5 hours towards making an impact throughout all of our programs.

We have acknowledged providing over 100,000 support packs, celebrated at events for Australian of Year Local Hero awards which is an incredible acknowledgement of our community and so much more.

We are still looking for a warehouse but let’s see what magic 2025 will bring 👏

Can you help?

It's been a crazy long time (2 years to be exact 😮) since we last put on a raffle, raising some much needed funds for our friends at Backpacks 4 SA Kids INC.
.. and we are currently seeking your help to secure donations of goods, services or gift vouchers etc as prizes for our upcoming raffle fundraiser.

We have upped our appreciation game slightly these past couple of years. Any donors will of of course receive thanks and acknowledgement of support via any digital and printed materials, as well as a certificate of appreciation upon completion of raffle 😉

I was invited to come in and have a chat about Backpacks 4 SA Kids INC. and a bit of a Q&A session followed by my favourite part, a delicious afternoon tea with some new friends.

We received a heap of amazing donations from the residents and will be posting funds from their generous fundraising efforts shortly also.
