My dad was so proud of this picture. He was one of the BAR US Marines who went up the hill to clear the way for the flag raising, He said he got the chills as he got down to the bottom of the hill and looked up and saw the flag being raised. He lived and died a US Marine .. Semper Fi Old man, we miss you.
