Strictly Headshots Productions began in the mid 90's at various venues local to Houghton Le Spring and was founded by Jase Morris who wanted to provide local house heads with quality music without having to travel to hear Underground House. Eventually finding its home at the McEwans Centre bringing in connections from London i.e The Ladbroke Grove New Jersey Appreciation Society. Headshots gained
momentum attracting names such as Phil Asher, Taxi Driver, Noel Watson, Aaron Ross from the House Show 1 Extra and the HHA lads Craig Whitfield & Luke McCarty. In addition to this it had a strong core of residents who appreciate the house scene including P.M.D, Webby, Big Chris & Wask. Recently added to the production team Andrew Waite who originally played alongside Wask n Whitfield before Headshots started and has the desire to help progress the event and also the new blood resident Dj's none other than Mick Bun & Lee Willow. In addition to the Headshots faithful the event has also had support from guest Dj's who have stepped up to the mark and provided sounds to please the following of the scene. Headshots have continued to play quality house music and have hosted parties at many venues around the North East including Durham (Jimmy Allans & a future prospect of The Loft), Sunderland (Ruba, Bar Justice, The Basement, Pure, The Factory & most recently Independantt)
Upcoming gigs include a local teaser at The Fox & Hounds (1 Night In Hetton) and then kicking off at The Loft in Durham on 28th March to carry on the House Music Movement into the future! House Music will never die as long as local house heads want to hear quality underground house music then Headshots doors will always be open.
