The Factory Celebrating the underground During the 1960s The Factory was the studio of Andy Warhol.

It was the home to the alternative and underground scene in New York, the hangout for musicians, artists, eccentrics, freaks and amphetamine users. Through the infamous parties held at The Factory emerged a scene of which the likes of The Velvet Underground, Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Jim Morrison and countless others were regulars. Now The Factory has reappeared years later in Cape Town to support our growing alternative scene.
