صدر عن مؤسسي جائزة "موركس دور" الطبيبين زاهي وفادي الحلو البيان الآتي:

"بعد الظروف الآليمة المتتالية التي ألمت بوطننا لبنان والتي تمثلت بالاعتداءات الغاشمة على بلدنا الحبيب والتي أودت بحياة العديد من القتلى والجرحى، وتضامناً مع أشقائنا في الوطن، قررت لجنة "الموركس دور" إرجاء الحفل الذي كان مقرراً أن يقام مساء الأحد 22 أيلول الجاري إلى موعد يحدد لاحقاً تبعاً للظروف.
علماً أن حفل "موركس دور" في دورته الرابعة والعشرين كان سيخصص للبنان كالعادة تحت شعار "اشفِ جراح العالم بالفن والموسيقى... Heal the World with Art & Music" كلفتة تضامنية من عدد كبير من الفنانين اللبنانيين والعرب والعالميين.
سيبقى "موركس دور"واجهة الابداع والثقافة والفن على أمل عودة الحياة الطبيعية الى لبنان.
وإذ تتقدم اللجنة بأحرّ التعازي من أهالي الشهداء وتتمنى للجرحى الشفاء العاجل، مع الأمل أن ينجي الله لبنان من أي مصيبة جديدة."
