- Orangery & Cellar Bar set up last weekend for Mr & Mrs Stevens.

The brief was to serve local produce. So we listed Pilsner, IPA and Cider alongside some wonderful craft gins and of course Espresso Martinis 🍸 and old fashioned 🥃

I often get told by my wedding and event planning chums to do a “man behind the brand” photo/intro for the gram. So here I am, looking very pleased with an Espresso Martini - David🍸

I have been making drinks for 20 years and running B&C for 6 😮

The truth is, it's a team game, and for any bar / drinks service, you are only as good as your least experienced bar person / mixologist - Training is 🔑

With so much planning that goes into private and public events, it's really important that the drinks aren't an afterthought and that's where we come in. ✨

Super proud of the Boston team (plenty not in this photo but you know who you are). We have had to overcome so much this year and last with COVID restrictions and related staff absences, fuel issues, stock shortages and looong working hours with back to back events. We tick along now with regular events for the rest of 2021 and are planning for bigger and better things next year. If you have any event bar requirements please let us know. ♥️

IMMEDIATE START

Full-Time (40 hrs +) member of staff (Event Bar Manager) throughout remaining August dates and September.

Bar experience needed (I can train those who need refreshing), own transport, hard-working (with lifting required) and a good sense of humour. A really fun job with the opportunity for more PT & FT employment in the following months and years to come.

It’s been a great month getting back to what we love! Roll on the 19th July so our lovely couples can celebrate at full capacity & we can finally get used to welcoming customers back at the bar!

Our team have been super busy behind the scenes, despite being a bit quiet on social! But our cocktail skills are still top notch - perhaps you’ll try our Boston Rum Punch when we see you next? 😁
